I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SAY THE EXACT SAME THING I SAID!!!! I almost fainted when her last clean part ended and the solo began. I have NEVER heard anything better in my whole life and i have been listening to everything from this band, war eternal, you will know my name, eagle flies alone, nemesis, house of mirrors. Some songs to mention there. Sorry for the caps btw haha.

It's like one woman commented about taking her kid to see an AE concert, they got front row and she called Alissa a 5'4 killing machine. 😄 If you'd like to see Alissa making an appearance with her sister's band, lookup, No Joy band song Dream Rats. I enjoy Jasamine's stuff as well. And if you haven't heard the other two Arch Enemy songs, "Deceiver, Deceiver" and "House of Mirrors" get ready to become a fan of growls through a song. They're both f'n great.

Thank you Tauri! This really is a show piece what this band is capable of. Different vocal styles, 3 solos from Michael and last from almighty mr. Loomis! All of these singles they've released has this somekind of retro feel soundwise yet they are new with modern sounds and of course with the AE-trick: melodic guitars on background of harsh vocals. Please check out other two. I bet you'll like them too!

Awesome reaction as usual from you! No cleans but you should checkout "Deceiver, Deceiver" as the first single from the new release. This song is my favorite so far. The music is everything you need and expect from AE but then the gritty cleans just take it up another level !!!!! Badass song!!!!

I'm a big fan of Arch Enemy and I agree with you. The clean vocals add a lot to their songs, and Alissa's clean vocals are so dayum good It's amazing how she can switch between the fierce growl and clean vocals in a second. Thank you for the video

Wouldn't it be fun to get Brittney, Alissa, and (oh, I dunno) maybe Marcela Bovio to do a tour together, and perhaps some collab songs at the end of the night? I mean : UTA, Arch Emeny and Mayan at one show??? I would be there in a heart beat.

Agree totaly. Anyone screaming for Angela now? Has loved Alissa since her Agonist days and the band did a good thing to change singer. AE has always been good but this is a step in right direktion in my humble opinion.

Good reaction. I agree with you. When i hear 3 songs in a row from AE i have enough. Hope they keep the beautiful clean vocals of alysa in future songs. Really love her growls but sometimes it becomes to much. Always amazing guitar solo’s. Great drumming. Thank you for this reaction.

Alissa's great/unexpected cleans had me spinning into an unexpected turn, then your sudden pause tossed me into the ditch, LOL. Alissa has had great cleans for a long long time... then end of Kamelot's Sacrimony. I wonder if Jeff Loomis is influencing their placement of cleans? .. he's been around long enough to know how to grow an audience. (and his guitar playing is f-all amazing, too). ... your confidence is just fine. Behind the mic, your voice conveys the most soothing metal appreciation an audience could ever want to here. You rock !! (oh crap... that should probably be "You Metal", but that might be lost on some people)

This is the way the band should go. I love the drums and guitars but the continuous growling gets on yah after a while. They have a very diverse and talented vocalist it would be a shame not to use her accordingly.Awsome. They could mix the vocal styles and it would be fuckin great especially with their ability to write strong songs.....I impressive

There is not much song that has clean vocals in the past. As much as I remember only Resaon to Believe has clean vocal in AE history except this one of course.But you should definetly check War Eternal and whole war eternal album

She mentioned in an interview that she didn't want to step on any toes of old Arch enemy fans (since Angela only did harsh vocals), but the rest of the band has always encouraged her clean vocals, because it gives their song writing more depth and options. It was in fact Angela that finally convinced her.

I love the eye-catcher Alissa with her voice growl or clean. It is not the 1st time for Arch Enemy. Take a look to the song "Reason to Believe" on album WILL TO POWER. I think it was a long overdue step, use the full potential of her voice. Definitifly a masterpiece! Btw. who design her outfits?

Hey Tauri, Tati is not alone anymore - always knew Alissa could sing clean - afterall, she and Elize were the ones stepping that famous night where Nightwish almost canceled their concert in Denver. But, this is the proof and I hope we'll hear more of this side of her voice in future Arch Enemy songs.

Mixed feelings with this. I loved the power metal touch but too much clean vocals to be Arch Enemy, Even Alyssa clean singing is outstanding as she was in The Agonist and Kamelot.

It is still Arch Enemy, the chorus especially has the stereotypical anthemic AE style. They don't need to be AC/DC and release the same music their entire career. I welcome a little deviation from the "formula" to keep the music interesting.
