I like how Alissa and Nick left their mark on War Eternal without changing the core sound of Arch Enemy. That's some perfect melding with a new band.

I just can't express how awesome this song is. The riffs and music... so heavy and delivered with such clarity. And the lyrics and vocals are savage.

Alissa White-Gluz is awesome. Her and Angela Gossow are the queens of metal. Haters have no room to talk.

True story. This is the original vocal take she did when she came to Halmstad the first time. This is kind of Alissa’s ”try out for the band”. We sat in the studio and just tried to keep calm. It wasn’t easy. THIS is how you deliver when you want to be in a band. The ”demo” was just so good that it ended up on the album. Bloody incredible. As far as I remember we only changed one line. Or half a line actually. Alissa=pro.

Alyssa is the best metal vocalist of all time. She has it. When she decides sing without the growls it sends shivers down my spine. She is amazing. I would love one day to sing a song along side her

The addition of the Jeff Loomis solo fills really changes the texture of the song from the version on the album and absolutely for the better. Loomis is my favorite guitarist and his style is so distinctive. There was no one who wrote metal songs with such unusual and clever riffs as JL for Nevermore and his solo playing is as good as it gets. What a compliment to Michael Amott with such contrasting styles. I can't wait to hear what he and MA come up with for the next record. I expect some groundbreaking changes for Arch Enemy.

Great and amazing song. One of my favorite songs. Great musicians and a great singer. The beautiful guitars melodies and a great growling vocal. Arch Enemy is one of the best metal bands today. I very like it :-).

I'm so OBSESSED with arch enemy that I made my phone ring with the song ,,War Eternal"... I'm only 13, and my friends usually listen to some pop shits (for me) and think that's real good music... For me Arch Enemy is best example for showing anger and emotions, through their lyrics growling (screaming) my friends think I'm Satanist just because I like dark metal clothing and I listen to metal... But anyways, everybody has their dark side and it isn't too bad to explore it

The beat and the riffs and her growling is such a beautiful start of the song, that I think not only my jaw dropped it's that I anally prolapsed in the process if I had that problem.
