Quinn Ewers is the starter once he's healthy. Arch is great, and I can't wait to see him next year and for the rest of his time in college. But he just doesn't have the reps or leadership Quinn does right now, and the Horns are looking for a natty this year. Having said that, Quinn better play well when he returns or people will start clamoring for Arch.

I think what this does is it gives arch a few more years to develop before he inevitably hast to start for an NFL team. We are seeing the trend of a rookie quarterbacks, not doing very well starting off in the NFL… I think more time within the college program allows him to develop and it’s added bonus he doesn’t need money.

Patients is a virtue. I wish nfl teams would start letting QBs develop and get acclimated to the nfl system before throwing them to the wolves. We're missing out on good QBs in the nfl because they're not able to develop and build confidence before they lose their confidence. There's only a few that get lucky.

C’mon imagine being Arch Manning. His grandfather is a living SEC legend who was the 2nd player taken in his draft. Was it only his fault the Saints sucked ? So again, imagine being Arch Manning: all the QB1 knowledge a prospect could ask for!
