Hi scouts! Good news: Wastlanders is out! Not so good news: some of the spawns have been altered. Especially when it comes to the Foxes. I have made an updated location video to show where you can get photos of the harder to find critters for scout badges, as Wastlanders has seemed to have caused some issues with critter spawns. You can find that here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6VBLHpDGz5k.html Foxes have a spawn point at Big Freds, as well as East towards Site Alpha, but I go over a route you can take to try and find live foxes if you are having difficulty. @@littlepatlittle5487 They are a very rare drop from scorchbeasts and the scorchbeast queen. I got my copy from a random scorchbeast that showed up during Consensus Violence, but I doubt the event had anything to do with it.

I never noticed how silly the badge was. I hope if they add a Paleontologist Badge that it is all about discovering human history, human bones, or history leading up to the bombs at the very least. Just for a little wink and nod to the fact that we are sort of doing Paleontology at the same time as very minor Archaeology. Great video as always! I only knew about one of those fossil sites. I never realized there were so many others in all my time of playing.

I'll have to come back here for a few of the harder Badges, but as a person who completed the exams first and without searching the answers I'm fairly proud most didn't give me a hard time. Just knocked out Gardener and Rail Enthusiast today. Possum Badges are the real end game grind.

if i may ask can you do a guide on the miner badge please? i'm really confused on how to do it, mostly because i was trying to take a pic of ore veins and i only know of coal veins as deposits never seen a coal one and this "sign in at (Garrahan Hornwright) Headquarters" and "Lucky Strike" quest

Not sure if you still need it, but I have a Miner guide out. With the ore, be sure to take pictures of the deposits, not the veins. You also have to get really close too.

Does anyone know any other place foxes spawn? I've been looking for foxes at big freds for days now and they never spawn no matter what i do

The spawn rates have been affected by the wastelanders update, but I have still find foxes there. Just not as frequently. I have a pinned comment on my Mammalogist guide with a route linked for small critter spawns that has been helpful to others. There is also a link to map76 which you can search up specific spawns like foxes ect. It shows the foxes have moved slightly to the east of Big Fred's, though I've only found them there every now and again. @@Wickedy that makes more sense.. I didnt even think about wastelanders affected spawn locations.. I've been stuck on the archeologist challenge for days because I cant make fox jerky l.. hopefully this helps! Thanks again
