Raphael's name is based on the Hebrew word rapha, translating to ‘doctor’ or ‘healer’. Raphael is responsible for the healing of the individual, humanity, and the planet. He coaches and motivates healers, whispering instructions into the ears of doctors, surgeons, psychologists, nurses and other caregivers. His intervention helps scientists make breakthroughs in medical cures. You can call upon Raphael whenever you need healing or are performing meditations focused on the healing of the planet.
Raphael is one of the great archangels, governing the direction of east and the element of air. Thus, travel and insight come under his governance.
