I had to return my card after 5 months. Bluetooth part keep cutting out when I wake the pc from hibernation. I keep getting an error 43. This can also happen after a cold start up of the machine. Doesn't matter which of the two USB F ports on the MB I use. All latest drivers installed.
This wifi card is a big improvement for me, I got 300mbps download speeds, but you should download the wifi drivers for this card before removing your old wifi card and putting in the new one. After that, run the installer and the wifi should work, then install the Bluetooth drivers.
I have a major issue with the bluetooth component of this unit. Every time my computer enters hybernation the bluetooth component of device gives an error 43 in device manager. This happened both under Windows 10 Pro, build 1903 and the latest Windows 10 build 2004. Then I have to delete the driver in device manager and re-install and then bang it works again. This repeats itself no matter if I install the bluetooth driver from TP-links website or the one from intels website. It has happened so many times its starting to annyoing. The wifi component of this device doesn't seem to have an issue. The TX3000E is the device in my machine having issue. The card is installed in Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO motherboard. Is there any way to solve this problem? Or is just something that I have to live with?
Nice our vido, i bought te same, but i did not find connexion USB with my Asus WS X299 SAGE/10G, CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE, OR MUST I FIND ONE ADAPTER? THANK YOU.
My mobo is an Asrock Z87 Pro3. It has 2xUSB2 headers and 1 USB 3 header. They are specifically labeled F_USB. Wonder if this will still work in one of them.
Is the bluetooth signal being sent out by the antenna or is it a chip on the pcb? And if so, how is the range and is the signal stable? My pc case is pretty much open air but the whole front is a 5mm thick tempered glass hood. Also my gpu is mounted vertically and would cover the wireless card from the users perspective. Any help and experiences shared would be appreciated.
I believe that it's chip on board. It seem that it's just BT dongle circuit on that card, separated from WIFI part. That's why you have to connect BT to USB. I bought it today and I'm angry from that solution. Didn't test range of BT yet. I thought that correctly made Wifi/BT solution but who could you expect from that price.
my home speed 500 MB/S , when use it via cable get 480 mb/s of speed , when used this adaptor TX3000E only 390 mb/s its normal ? or imposobal get full speed like cable 480 mb/s >? thanks
I didn’t even know I had to get the drivers for this thing and it has worked fine, I have the motherboard drivers do I need the drivers for this? (My motherboard does not come with WiFi)
Everyone who’s had an issue after downloading the drives without CD. You HAVE TO CONNECT THE ETHERNET CABLE TO YOUR PC! Then it will finally connect to your WiFi and will work! Just did this myself today! Please like to help others! Update: (9/12) I returned this the same week I got it best to just use an Ethernet cable.
Can anybody explain, im having 500mbps internet plan...but im only getting 300mbps speed from TX3000e...TX speed in 866mbps at my pc.... what should i do? i see some people get up to 470mbps speed with non wifi 6 router.... am i missing something?? please enlighten me... thank u in advance...
tp-link Archer TX3000E says Bluetooth cable should be connected to F_USB on mobo. I have a MSI x570 A-pro mobo, which does not have that F_USB. I do see J_USB1, J_USB2 and J_USB3. J_USB3 is connected to USB 3 in front pannel, can I connect tp-link Archer TX3000E Bluetooth to J_USB1 since F_USB and J_USB both are 9 pins ?
I really need help, I'm looking to buy the Wi-Fi card but I don't know if ill be able to install it into my motherboard (msi mag b55om mortar) the video says find a F_USB connector but I don't have one all I have is JUSB connectors, would I still be able to connect it?
@@10GreenDragon10 nice good to know. I don't use outdated operating system. All of my devices is up to date for the better security and performance improvement.
I have been using this device for 2 months and wifi works great. But there is issue with the bluetooth. Its connected to internal connector my motherboard. However periodically I get an error 43 and have to reactive the device in device manager. Even deleted the driver and installed it several times, but the problem still pops up, regardless. I use Windows 10 Professional 1909, the motherboard is a Aeros Z390 Pro and I use both the latest wifi + bluedrivers from Intel. So any ideas/surgest what is causing this? and how do I solve it?
Mads Frederik Toft sometimes windows has a strange setting that turns off the device to save power, go into your setting on this device in device manager and have a poke around until you find an option that talks about switching it off or lowering power, hope this helps
I've found out for anyone in the same boat. They are both 9 pin with the same configuration so I assume it's a manufacturer difference and that F and J are identical, mine are labelled J_USB and I'll be purchasing this soon so I'll confirm later.
I notice on this video the magnetized base is stuck to the side of the tower. Am I the only one that would be paranoid doing this considering magnets can kill hard drives?
That would not be an issue. I can promise you this much. The cobalt film coating used on almost all mechanical drives now would not be affected by this. The distance and shielding prevent this. Most computers now have either conventional SSD or M.2 or similar drives mounted directly to the system board (motherboard). Any fan in a pc is going to have stronger magnets and there are some of the strongest commercially avail nadidnium magnets that function as part of the finger actuator assemblies in each and every regular hard drive. There are 2 ea of these per drive that sit less than an inch from the platters inside the drive shell so pretty sure that magnets being used on a pc case pose no risk at all. I use magnets to hold things to my case(s) all the time. The glass panel on my gaming case is held by 4 rare earth magnets as well. N52 magnets I think. The greater risk would be to get a magnet in proximity to a conventional CRT and some panel monitors for extended periods. Either can be damaged permanently after a short time. Thank you.
I know this video is like 3 years old but anyone know I have a long PCIe adapter but it has a little small area that has different grooves and things in it I have two of those and that’s all I have I don’t have a PCIe x1 that’s alone but think my long one can also be used as PCIe x1 becuase that’s the only thing I have idk
Plug a usb into another computer/laptop. Google (Archer TX3000E drivers) and download, put the files on the usb. Plug the usb drive into the new computer and download. Wolahh
Bought one today, I have a ASUS TUF B450M-Pro Motherboard, I am clueless where the J or F_USB port is, all I can find for a 9 pin connector is USB56, I have no idea what to do, if there are any experts please let me know!
did you ever find a fix to the error 10 message for the wifi adapter on device manager? i just recently bought this device and I cant seem to fix the issue
Mohamad Safawi yep just bought it coming in a few days I had a archer t6e but it wasn’t to good hoping this one has good range for 5ghz tho anyways I’ll let u know what’s up when I got working if u still haven’t gotten urs yet
it doesn't work for me , for some reason i plugged it into 16x PCIE slot instead of x1, for that my x1 is right below the GPU and the wifi card doesn't fit and downloaded the drivers from the website , not through CD could this be the reason ?? if not then why doesn't it work for me ?!
@@ThatBoredAlex it actually worked i used the x1 PCIE lane UNDER the GPU , instead of the other one below the 2nd x16 PCIE lane (i wanted some space so they breathe)
@@ThatBoredAlex i know but i used the x1 that at the bottom of my motherboard so my GPU breathes it didn't work .. so when i plugged it into my x1 right below my GPU it worked fine
yep, if your Logitech keyboard and mouse support Bluetooth you can get rid of the dongle which makes things more convenient. moreover, you can connect your other BT devices, for instance, your smartphone. Cheers
@@komolcanberra Good cause I have two dongles in my desktop machine. One for my Logitech keyboard (bluetooth) and one for my Logitech mouse(bluetooth).
@@EuromanMovieReport great, it will be much easy for you. this wifi card is using Intel wireless chip and I have found it performs better than broadcom.
EuromanMovieReport great. Best practice is to connect them straight to the card. But it will also depends on the position and distance of the router from your desktop. I suggest play around a bit and test the speed and compare the result.
I just tried installing this for two hours and I’ll save you the time you have to have the CD and use the auto run through the CD. You cannot download the drivers online it won’t work
Designers of this device are idiots. Seriously. High speed PCIE with enough power but you have to connect it with USB to board and scarify may be 4 USB channels? That USB port on board is occupied on almost every board by Case USB panel. If I wanted USB Bluetooth, I would buy USB WIFI and USB Bluetooth.
When Intel designed the network card chip, it formulated the standard that Bluetooth must use the USB channel. The designer of this product is certainly not a fool, but is subject to Intel’s restrictions and does not allow modification.
