The take home is one needs multiple quivers. 1. When I am target shooting I want alot of arrows. 2. 3d? just need a few so hip is good 3. Hunting? On the bow quiver is the only way to go. So, how many do I have? 6!
It really depends on your comfort level, as the beginner will need to have a bit more grip on the string as it can normally hurt if too little. I have been shooting all my life, and I normally go mid-finger pad before the first knuckle. Where a beginner, being at the first knuckle feels more comfortable to be able to shoot. Less finger you have on the string should result in less issues of a poor release though.
Why does your website arrow shaft ordering process allow a customer to select a component that is not correct for the specific shaft selected? Example: 1716 tribute shafts, but the nock selection list has 3 nock sizes that don't fit that shaft. If you select a specific shaft, you should get a nock SELECTION that is specific to that shaft.
Well, for that shaft, it is one of the only ones that the manufacturer does not include nocks (of shafts we sell), so it is a bit of a special case. It currently only has the 1716 models left, as it is also being discontinued and the other models are gone. We had all the selections as the other models use different nocks. How the product page is set up in our system does not "currently" allow for only showing nocks that fit for the model selection. We do offer this on our arrow builder though. Please give it a try here: www.3riversarchery.com/arrow-builder.html We hope in the future for the product pages to be as smart as the arrow builder, but for the time being we provide all needed information in the product description to help with selections.
@@3RiversArchery you missed the point entirely. A shaft model can use different sizes of nocks, due to different sizes of that model of shaft. A specific shaft does not use 4 different sizes of nocks. So much for user friendly ordering. Just today your customers service person admitted that this has been a problem. Check the recording of the call. It will probably be the only one for 1716 tribute shafts.
I don't believe I missed the point. I did say we are working towards it. We have this set up on our arrow builder, but not the product pages yet. At this point, the consumer has to reference the charts we have in the descriptions for guidance. Again though, we are working to make the dropdowns on the product page as smart as they are on the arrow builder. A lot of behind the scenes work has to happen for that though.
@@3RiversArchery thanks for the follow up, I'll be sure to reference the chart next time. I do appreciate that your company is there for those with archery needs.
