Sometimes I fail to mention a crucial piece of info about a card (such as Ojamatching letting you repeatedly crash and search with Blue or letting you summon Armed LV3 to level it up during Standby Phase) and I want to delete the entire video and shrivel up and die
Not to mention rescue rabbit can search 2 of Blue and how easy it is to swarm the field with ABC pieces because of the new support. have Ojama country and Blue on the field, attack into an opponent's monster, take around 1-2K in damage, search Ojama magic and Ojamadification, use country's effect to revive Blue and search the original trio, play Ojamadification for bringing out the 3 ABC pieces and then recycling the Ojama trio back and draw one card. From there you can make a link 4 and get all three pieces into the GY for a Dragon Buster Cannon and trigger the effects of the pieces from a two card combo and you battle phase. Honestly this archetype is really good now and gains you so much advantage, i'm kind of surprised for how this review glossed over it.
In fairness Lime's popularity is owed entirely to Jimbles talent, and possibly Rata's writing It's hard to tell how much of it is actually scripted and how much is Rata just giving him a mic and asking him to channel his inner Sand Devil

They don't even need the Megamorph to OTK, the destroyed Tokens already gave the 900 damage, so Kings 7400 ATK are enough. What do you say? "What if there is another monster on the opponents field? Well if your opponents plays something that allows you to do the previous stated shenanigans, than he won't play monsters at all.
The part that fucks me up is using *unstable evolution* when I'm pretty sure Ojama country will do the job just fine anyway, gives king an additional 600ATK and will provide you with the bounceback and recovery you will inevitably need when this plan doesn't go your way. This will ultimately also lessen the amount of cards you need. At this point, all you need is the fusion materials for King, Trio and Muscle to boost King up to 6000 and then Megamorph for 12000ATK, which is about as good as you will need it to be. Granted, an 8 card OTK is about on the same league as a 10 card one, but with Ojamagic working well with Ojama country, the bare minimum you need to set this rolling off an empty field is 6 cards in the hand (Country, Morph, Poly, Ojamagic, Trio and Muscle) and 1 in the grave (Any Ojama to summon with Country).
@@AlluMan96 The part that fucks me about the combo is that it actually doesn't work. Megamorph changes the ATK of the equipped monster to double or half of its original ATK. Like, it doesn't double the monster's original ATK or current ATK, it changes the monster's current ATK, and it's changes it to a specific value. So if you played Megamorph after doing the whole prior combo, it'd actually make Ojama King into a 4800-ATK card (doubling the 2400 from Unstable Evolution and discarding the boost from Ojamuscle). The only way to make the combo work as intended is to play Megamorph _before_ playing Ojamuscle, which gives Ojama King 9800 ATK. Incidentally, if you want an actual slightly functional Ojama OTK, I'd say something like... - Activate Country, discard Ojamagic to summon an Ojama (preferably a destroyed Blue), add Green, Yellow, and Black - Summon Red, which summons Green, Yellow, and Blue - Activate Delta Hurricane - Attack with five Ojamas - Activate Flash Fusion and summon King, attack directly Again, not exactly the return of Dragon Rulers for consistency (it requires five cards), but it's something an actual Ojama deck could pull off without killing itself, especially given Blue's search effect. Flash Fusion is the only real oddball, and even then, I'd say using it after a Delta Hurricane is still enough to take a chunk out of your average opponent.

What Ojama's really need is the most batshit, stupid and ridiculous combo to kill an opponent in the most humiliating way possible. Somehting like; - Gameciel one of the opponent's monsters and force it into defence in whatever way you see fit. - Discard your Ojamagic to gather the gang without having Ojama Country. - Summon them using Ojama Red and then Link them into Ojama Emperor - Equip Ojama Emperor with Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce - Activate Action Magic - Full Turn - Smash into the defence-position Gameciel twice with your Ojama Emperor for 12 000 damage, which gets deflected onto the opponent.

megamorph would actually shoot it in the foot though: Makes the monsters attack Double it's *original* attack. Ojama kings Original attack is 0. 2 x 0 = 0. EDIT: Missed the eff. of unstable evolution. Still wouldn't be as high as what is predicted, but definitely more useful.

In all fairness to Konami, Hardened Armed Dragon's name in Japanese is basically just "Hard Armedragon" with Armedragon being one word. I can see why the localisers thought their name choice wouldn't be strange.

You're running three copies of blue and no copies of One Day of Peace? Dude. Blue's effect combined with the support cards lets you take swings with Blue over and over again. If you can take 4K damage in one turn, then you're guaranteed an Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon. If you activate One Day of Peace beforehand, then that damage you've just eaten becomes nonexistent.

Steelswarm are part of the same archetype of Evilswarm due to the "Lswarm" in their names. So due to the latter being inherently good enough to avoid both AA and LotW series on it's own, it would be pretty damn boring to review a significantly worse Monarch deck. You're basically asking Rata to crank the memes to 11 in order to sustain the video you're proposing.

i think i finally, properly figured out the energy of the ojamas: they're like digimon failure evolutions, but they have replaced the shit obsession with the speedo bulges.
Having just gained a bit of fondness for them recently, I'd love to see an episode on Ghostricks! I find them a lot of fun to use. Bit lacking in raw power (with the notable exception of Ghoul's effect), but their mechanics are really fun and interesting.

As someone who has ran ojamas for years, in every varient they can from xyz ojamas, to synchro ojamas, from old school super poly OTK ojamas, to new school Metalfoe-jamas, I thank you for this video. Unfortunately you forgot the single most important card in the archetype, the card that has always helped them, and grew even stronger with the new continuous trap and Ojama Duo, the one card that not only disrupts the battle phase, but also commonly goes plus 5 while it isn't even your turn, Magical Hats.
Someone ask/pay Dan to say this and record it in good quality, and I know a guy who will animate Chazz and Yugi on the same tag team for that piece of beauty.
