Love the fact that the home is wheelchair friendly but does not look like a hospital or nursing facility (I'm a nurse for a patient with a disability). This is masterful design and practicality!
Be still my heart. I'm not a fan of the concrete home, but the furniture. The lighting. The tile work. The artwork. The bathrooms. That closet. The garden space. Absolute perfection. Oh yeah, and the fireplace. All works of art . Beautiful! Love the expanses of glass to the outdoors. Just beautiful.
WOW, the video edit is so fire!!!! The tempo of the edit matches so well with the content and the BGM and the last pause, rotation and music kicks back in are so unexpected and refreshing. I love it!!!!
The layout of the backyard is really great with the covered area and pool. The kitchen's materials and colors go really well together and doesn't feel shallow or empty. Love the curved roof with skylight. I really like this place. It feels so warm and homey!
This home contains stunning features which are classically beautiful. The arches in the hallway of the original dwelling is beautiful. The kitchen is fantastic with its long counters and natural materials. It's like a wonderful kitchen to use. The wall of windows offers a lovely view of the yard. It's a very beautiful home.
@@gorom9153 that’s not bad. What about the bunkeren house? Idk if you have time but that one is prob my fav house on the channel and I gotta think with all the concrete it’s upwards of 10. You think less or more?? Thank you!
It's very Kafkaesque in it's execution while maintaining an equilibrium with nature. It has a sense of Stoicism in its reserved use of materials, yet it crafts a sense of contemporary modernity. The duality of it's existence in both the past and the future are so phenomenally interwoven like cells interlinked, that it beggars belief that one human could design such a spectacle as we are witnessed to here.
Notes: Overhead light feature/circled arch (white)... **again @2:45**; Sleekness and minimalist design @0:30 and @1:32, @1:38-1:44... **4 shots @1:56 with 3 shots from 2:40-2:43, then 2:59 (1 shot)**, 2 shots from 2:23, 3:26, *3:43*, 4:30-4:34; Interior @0:40; Light/dark material contrast and dullness of concrete (see also 3:10-3:20); Bathroom and closet from 2:13.
Can't tell if the dude is reading from a teleprompter and trying really hard not to sound like he's reading or if he simply has a special 'architect's talk' with that cadence and fluffy talk. Quirky and unique execution. I love the material choice - the darker limestone and walnut mmmmm so nice. Did you guys use a different videography and editing crew over in Adelaide? Seems like it - different feel and brand. More 'artsy' with a cinematic flare than architectural. Cool nonetheless. Cheers for another great video.

Why are 90% of houses on this channel featuring massive, modernist extensions to old workers/federation cottages. Surely there are other interesting builds in Australia that are not such overbuilt workers cottages.
I like this channel! But writes this absolute drivel! ? The cleverer and more woke you try to sound- just makes you sound ‘try hard’… it’s completely unnecessary- let the design and architecture speak for itself!
