If im not mistaken the reason why these videos were taken off his channel was because of something that happened between the animators and him that was completely uncalled for, long story short i think the animators escentially threw khonjin under the bus for something he didnt do and collectively left, I cant remeber the precise details of the event but it did set supermental back a bit and led to the removal of the supermental animations as they were the ones who animated them and would've tried to call khonjin out for "stealing" or "abusing" them by keeping thier animations on his channel
haven’t been into khonjin house/supermental in a while, but if i remember correctly, it was confirmed that pent=shelby and is also trans, so is the line “shelby will complete me” referring to that?
To be honest you can visually see that he got mad when he saw that he is trans so maybe he doesn’t like his past self he wanted a change and he doesn’t want to look back on it
if that's true that's great news. I didn't discover Khonjin's House till like 3 days ago and I discovered Supermental less than an hour ago. I noticed that some of the early episodes were uploaded very recently when they should've been uploaded in 2015, and i noticed a lot of comments denoting that the videos have either been edited or censored and that there was no reason or context given. I really hope this is true and that the creator isn't going nuclear.
Connor recently had a q and a stream explaining everything. He pretty much had a falling out with the animators of the animated series and removed anything that had their work in it. i recommend watching the stream for the reason why
what is the name of the fucking sound effect that plays from 0:27 to 0:53 like i know its probably not one sound effect but a type of sound but i can't find it and its driving me insane
i'm so glad supermental was removed from the khonjin house canon. it's presentation was just so "meh" and just really felt like it didn't belong in the series. like, i get it, we all have our creative gripes and traumas, but... this is one of the least impactful and interesting ones in terms of how it was done. it may seem like i'm just being rude, but this comes from someone who suffers from those kinds of problems all the time, and has seen better takes on those problems, like Boisvert.
