Join ADAH collections archivist Mary Clare Johnson as she discusses a letter written by Pickens County native Thomas Jay during the Civil War. The letter recounts the Battle of First Bull Run, also known as the Battle of First Manassas, and includes two wooden fragments from Henry House, which was destroyed in the battle.
Archives/Five is a short (5 minutes or less) film series highlighting our collections.
