Archmage is a Partially Resuable Medium-Lift Launcher that is manufactured and designed by ASX Space. It can lift 14.5t (14,500kg) while reusable and 15t (15,000kg) while expendable, it uses methane for both the first and second stages. ASX Space uses lessons learned from the Messier Family and adapt and improve technology to it which includes making it reusable, first stage landings can happen only at the sea. Archmage is designed to not only be reusable, but also to replace the Messier Family which is expendable. Archmage's first stage is certified for 16 reuses with a turnaround time of 17-30 days and requires some refurbishment for every mission it does. Archmage was also designed to deliver satellites into any orbit, anything from LEO, SSO, Polar and GTO can be delivered, as well as to the moon, all while being reusable
In the near future, a Heavy-Lift version of the rocket named Archmage Heavy will make it's debut in October-November 2024 #sfs #spaceflightsimulator
