i love how you mentioned the connection between time and wind in genshin! istharoth (the god of time’s name, recently confirmed in enkanomiya was also a shade of Phanes and might be even more powerful than the archons) it was mentioned in the time and wind quest and it was recently confirmed (in enkanomiya lore i think?) that the god of time was actually also called “the thousand winds”. also in the new large-scaled event, one of fischl’s dialogues were “lend me both *time and wind*, and one shall revive one’s homeland.” meanwhile enka also mentioned “anemo brings stories while time nurtures them” and venti had dialogue which mentioned wind and time in irodori festival (and even earlier i think) which was “seeds of stories, brought by the wind and cultivated by time”. also, istharoth and time was also mentioned a lot in ei’s 2nd story quest where Ei thinks that Makoto might have used a higher being’s power (istaroth mentioned above the word) AND she did say eternity was connected to time. Istaroth was also known as Kairos in enkanomiya. theres also some more lore in genshin about tokoyo ookami and whatnot but im to tired from typing. anyways yeah venti istaroth lore is so intriguing and im surprised no one’s mentioned it before you!!

Just wanna say this rq, Venti and the God of time are not the same. Istaroth is the god of time, and a shade of phanes(from a old celestia I presume). The only way Barbatos and Istaroth are connected is because in lore terms they were somewhat close :)

Theres this theory about venti that the reason in his thousands of years of being a god he never changed his form was because he can barely remember the nameless bard the only think he has left of him is his Appearance but staying in that form makes him have this kind of identity crisis because he cant remember what he himself looked like as he never had a original form just a copy of a bard so while he cant change because if the fear of loosing nb foreever he cant just ignore it as ges loosing who he is and cant tell if hes following what the bard wanted or what he wanted

Dude piamon is the god of time dont believe me she allows you to change time, to complete various missions if not that option wouldn’t be there. Also notice when you open the menu paimon appears and the background freezes.
