A Benighted Archspire tour, but Kevin has to play in both bands.

I don't think there's any more doubt about who is going to be Archspire's next drummer.

There are plenty of good drummers uploading audition videos, but Kevin seems to be the one guy who is actually capable and comfortable playing the material.

Honestly it's not just the speed and technique, but also the buttery smooth sound. This is some legendary stuff.

this is the first archspire audition I've seen so far that just feels right, they all feel rushed or lazy, but this grooves with the band perfect

The perfect replacement for Spencer

Yet again ONE TAKE, COMPLETE PLAYTHROUGH with no jump cuts. 1:05 is MADNESS!! I think what it is about Kevin guys is that is not even just the speed! It is the precision/timing as well as power too. He hits hard enough to still articulate every hit while simultaneously not lagging and being right on time. He provides a human element to Archspire but in a proper way. It is not an accurate machine, but one of the most accurate human beings possible! Archspire need to hire this man now, plus we already know he can handle the endurance to play full live shows live this just by looking at his Benighted touring cams.

The fact that Kevin has the confidence to also put some of his own stamp and style on the material, not just try for the most perfect possible aping of Spencer, is an attractive quality. I'd think Archspire would be looking for someone to write with in future, and bringing something original of yourself to the material is important for that.

This has been by far the best audition.

I would be shocked if Kevin is not in the #1 spot to take over the drumming duties of Archspire. There are definitely a handful of other super talented and amazingly fast drummers out there, but the experience and sheer talent Kevin has is on another level!

When you thought your favorite bands drummer is gone and it's the end of an era. Your see Kevin's auditions and realize it might be the beginning of a new era. Kevin's the man for Job 💯

If you don't get this gig, those guys are really missing out. Super clean!

Anyone that can switch blast without there being a tone difference when switching hands gets the nod in my book. Simply the best.

Many people don't notice but no one has had better posture of back, neck and elbows than Kevin, even better than Spencer the composer... tremendous master class

I don't often leave comments on videos of any kind, but I have to say that not only is Kevin's technical ability quite impressive, his sense of time/groove and overall sound is excellent. Outstanding even. I kind of fell off listening to archspire as of late, but the prospect of Kevin drumming in the band piques my interest. Great technique, great feel and great sound.

By far the best I’ve seen. I remember a guy totally messing up the blast, yet still uploading. This, at first glance, was perfect. Better than what I’ve seen the original drummer play when he came up with the 350 bpm blasts

This felt tighter and more natural than a lot of what I've seen in the last couple of weeks. I would die to hear this drummer do Golden Mouth of Ruin.

Very tasty! The ghost notes on the snare really adds some subtlety and nuance to the super precise timing. Many of the other drummers are too machine like.

Excellent playing, Kevin! I really hope that you make the cut. Spencer is a difficult guy to replace, but your style fits in well and I think you would have a lot to offer as Archspire's new powerhouse.

Okay. I'm beyond convinced after this video. Amazing job. You make it look easy, and that's what everyone else is struggling with. All the other videos are people trying so so hard to keep up and doing a good job, but Kevin here is doing his best with ease and grace. It's amazing.
