Starting a new vehicle design from scratch is hard and very costly. They have now included all the states on both coasts of the US, plus Texas and New Mexico. There is less but still significant demand in the colder states. More territories will open up as sales dictate.

We haven't had a golf course say no yet! They love it.

Weight is about the same as a mower, heavier then golf cart and those narrow wheels. Plus it goes 80 mph. Haven’t had a course that I’ve asked allow it.

It varies with each club. The point was to show how versatile this is as a Fun Utility Vehicle and the video was successful at demonstrating that point.

In the US EV market where the average EV price is $60,000 this is a bargain. No 4 wheeled vehicle can compare on economy. Mine is paying for itself in just 8 years with all the savings not available with a car. My insurance is just $134/yr and I never buy gas or oil changes. You might as well 'wish' they sold for $50, that is also absurd. The price is what it is.

@popeyegordon 1) for 15,000 the most likely market to buy them, retirees and college student/graduates will beable to afford them. 2) No one with a bit of monetary sense will spend 60,000 on an open air electric motorcycle when they can still buy a full car for that.

@@JohnMiller-zn9pf Read it again - the $60K refers to electric CARS. Three times as much but not three times as much of a vehicle in an age when we should be using fewer resources. If we want to go electric the FUV is a fun way to do it while enjoying the safety of a car. $15 or $20K, no big difference except $15K condemns the company to bankruptcy for sure. Nobody owes you a new innovative vehicle for less than it costs to make, at a suicide price! The mass produced price will only drop with massive sales that have not been achieved yet. Had mine for two years now - it was a HUGE decision to buy the first and only new vehicle I ever owned after retirement, using half of my entire life savings. I drove an e-bike for seven whole years before buying the FUV. What I had can be seen in my avatar image - solar and pedal powered. That velomobile let me save the $25K by having no car expenses. I managed my modest retirement pension responsibly to be able to afford my Arcimoto when the time was right. Put my deposit down two years before delivery. NOW I still have a super economical and green vehicle that costs only $134/yr to insure (it gets the motorcycle rate) , saving me $900 every year right there, AND there is no gas or oil changes, no converter or air bag to steal, no engine to blow up, no transmission to overhaul. Cars are boring as hell and they cost at least $3000 every year to own and operate, that cost never drops! My FUV fully pays for itself in just 8 years, making it an extreme bargain if you possess the numeracy to understand this basic math.

ALL READERS - That is false!! Arcimoto has certified the two locations of the Electrified Garage in Florida for service. For any warranty service you take it to their location or they will haul it for free in a covered trailer. Their mechanics had to take a certification class at the Arcimoto factory. In the next few years we will see exponential growth of new EV service shops so service will become easier as time passes.

I do have an update, they did pick up her Arc and took it to EG. It was fixed and they upgraded a couple of things they were very accommodating. It still does not excuse the fact that they promised her mobile service here in Ponte Vedra. This is written in the sales agreement. That is a breach of contract. Yes we understand this is a new company. However they cannot keep using that as an excuse for breaking their promise to service their vehicles with mobile service. They need to come up with a better solution every time the vehicle breaks down it takes 6 weeks minimum to get it fixed? Not great. Look our first post was to get a response from the company. Sad that I had to take to youtube to get her vehicle fixed. @@popeyegordon

I was thinking the same thing. With a single rear wheel allowing the rear side panels to slope inward, why not place a bag holder on each side - better balance, both physically and aesthetically. Plus, the bags would protrude less allowing driver to be less concerned about clipping something or someone.

@@dobbsmovies - Don't have to. Laws of physics tells us otherwise. Plus, it's about uneven weight distribution and less about driving.

You are confusing a car with an autocycle. There can not be a legal 3 seat version in the US. There is a trunk for shopping. Climate control is NOT a sustainable feature for the future of personal vehicle designs and if you have doors you will demand climate control. I stay totally dry in rain because the air pressure moves rain to the sides and it won't blow in except when stopped. Your silly abuse of kid's cartoon emojis reveals your childish mind.
