So many of the lores that only work while a certain ambition is declared are like... their effect isn't tuned up nearly high enough to counteract the weight of that ambition requirement. Having one always feels like a liability with the way it pushes you to shoot for one specific ambition regardless of the card play or board state. Maybe I'm still just new enough to the game that I don't really see how to play around that yet
I missed it, but why is railgun array rated lower than mirror plating? Is one hit worse than one intercept? It seems like mirror plating only happens when assault dice are used but rail gun array works for all dice.
Oh I think I may have solved it myself. A single intercept scores hits equal to the amount of fresh defenders. So mirror playing can potentially score a lot more hits that railgun, but railgun is an automatic hit every time. damn, this game is neat!
@@snoopymate25 there are so many combinations of leaders and lore that we won’t be bored ever BUT it would be good to find some good “new” player combos to get new players to really engage with the game on the first play. First of hopefully many.
