that is your front differential locker. When in 4 wheel drive, if you still need more traction and want the front wheels to spin together at the same time you flip the lever to the “locked” position. Shouldn’t be used too much or for too long though. Thank you for watching! -Jacko

I think it was about $3,200 a couple of years ago. even though it’s a great machine I would not buy it again since Arctic Cat is a dying brand/manufacturer, therefore parts and dealership are scarce. I actually sold this and moved to Polaris. I currently have a 2020 Polaris Sportsman 450 HO and a 2015 Polaris Ranger 570 and quite happy with them. Thanks for watching! -Jacko

Thanks so much for the quick response. Looking now darn covid prices. Guy wants $3800 for an 07, I think he’s about $1500 high. I’d even do $2800, but $3800 was Msrp 15 years ago. I was looking at a 2019 sportsman 450 as well, just before covid hit. With a winch and plow $6000 total out the door, brand new. Man I wish I had done it.
