Honestly I see such progression towards the end. Sorry for getting deep here- but in the first video, it's like he's hurting and more upset than anything else. But towards the end he grows more and more frustrated and done. It's as if he goes from singing about heartbreak, to singing about someone who wasted his time.

Second last (AM version) makes me so emotional it’s uncomfortable. It’s not a memory anymore, it’s just solidified sentiment. As he sings you still hear his emotions, but he wasn’t remembering, but remember remembering. AM tour version is the gulp of whiskey you shot with an old friend, when you two have an expired friendship but they’ve already had their closure. You’re reaching for things but there aren’t a lot to reach for. And you know this will be the last time before a very long time. Or maybe I’m just used to AM Alex. It’s late night and I’m emotional.

If I saw them live I think I’d physically cry

In the first one, he was still a late teen, you can see and feel sheer, brutal emotional pain through his performance. As, we get old we get tougher, lose our naivety, develop all sorts of defence mechanisms to cope and protect our mental and emotional health from harm. To think of the young Alex performance, unavoidably reminds me of myself, just 7 months younger than Alex listening to AM in awe, in a time when lack of life experiences and less pain would allow me to see the world in a different light. All I’m saying is these types of videos allow you to see growth too, and all of that entails.

This song (the whole FWN) gives me such an unexplainable feeling of sadness and nostalgia. I cannot describe it. It never gets old.

This compilation is incredible. Thanks to this video I realised how incredibly good is that part of the song, and gave its proper value to Do me a favour and to Favourite Worst Nightmare in general. After I watched this video, I returned to that record after years of not having listened to it at all.

One of the reasons I love my sister is that when she would come home in months and i would just hum a song- like R U Mine and she just continued the song. I know it's not that unique but in my country, lots of the bands I like are not popular, so it's just really nice when your loved ones either just know it, or get interested.
