2006. Alex was a shy teen with a moptop and acne. The music was fast, intense and the lyrics were witty and had a certain attitude to them I love everything the band has done but its amazing to believe this is the same Alex who sang on albums such as AM or TBHC!

@@tonyc8752 it was because he was fatigued from touring. He took a break, and also had a family issue, and because he wasn’t ready to go back on tour, they replaced him with Nick.

1:41 Anyone noticed that when he moves the mic it falls and then he goes in the middle of the solo to tell the bass player to let him use his mic? then he sings with the new mic that has a little less volume and somebody in the background fixes his original mic and goes back to it (and the bass player headbutts him when he needs to sing XD). hahaha maybe it was obvious but I just noticed it happened

Brilliant. They never cease to amaze. Even at a live show, the quality is still the same. Bands tend to need the studio audio buffing to keep things great, but they don't need it. Next time they swing through Oregon, I'm there. =D

People have to realise, its takes a significant amount of talent to write music that will appeal to a large audience. Sure you can play your awesome guitar solos and write music that shows your talent as a musician... however people have to realise that music is for the enjoyment not to show off your skills. @@stoory4775 i read this on istg or somewhere, andy didn't actually left like that. in an interview, he was being asked: why did he left the band. but actually he didn't. he took a break from the band. but when he came back, he's already replaced by o'malley. and then, andy didn't talk with the monkeys for years. (sorry for my english)
