I respect that host so much. He can see that Alex is far more comfortable singing rather than talking, that he's not in his element and so he does an amazing job speaking sincerely and respectfully, without any sort of pressure or idiotic jokes that so many others do. The slow pace of the interview and host's professionalism made Alex relax and be himself here far more than he usual does.

This interview is just pure class all the way through. The easy banter. The informed questions. The interested responses. Two genuine dudes, one room, both with a role to play, filling space on radio airways without a hiccup. I'm appreciating the skill on both fronts. It doesn't hurt that Turner's vocals are the epitome of smooth.

He's a very nice person. People who say he is a jerk don't know him at all. When you're an artist, I think it is important to have some kind of mask to protect himself from the world of sharks and he does it with humor and elegance.

I'm gonna start saying "cheers" when people compliment me mid-conversation. I think that's the least awkward way to get through that.

don't be so judgemental because he wears sunglasses indoors.once he said that wearing sunglasses makes him feel better:) even indoors :) i have the same feeling when i wear them too :) with sunglesses i feel comfortable maybe b'cause i'm quite shy person and thats why ;) aand maybe shy Alex hasn't changed and because of this he wears sunglasses anywhere, anytime :)

He thanks for every compliments and he's very polite. But people think he's stoned and what did they do? Criticised him. Sometimes sober people are even worse don't you think?

I'm a straght guy and I've got a crush on him...

This host seems like the loveliest man. His passion for music is so strong you can tell that he feels the need to restrain himself a lot of the time. Alex comes across nice too but slightly smarmy (as many an intelligent English lad does). Still a huge fan of the monkeys and love this acoustic stuff. Really given me a greater appreciation of these songs.

He hasn't turned into a prick, he's just grown up a bit. And even so he was always a trouble maker, watch him slagging off Take That or causing trouble in the Sky news room, it's just the way he is. And he's not cocky, this year when the fans started singing Happy Birthday to him during a gig, he got embarrassed and overwhelmed. Also I think people should watch more than just the Brit Awards before making assumptions.

God the interviewer is in love with him. Alex is super polite when he's on his own.

It's funny how back then this interview was my getaway when I felt sad or emotional because I loved how soothing Alex's voice is and how the acoustics calm me down and the pretty lights and that cheered me up so much but now it makes me so emotional because it reminds me of those times. It wasn't a particularly great time of my life then but it was a whole lot better than now, so.

So I'm here, in 2021, listening to this piece of art after 2 years of pandemic and during the worst period of my life. I wish I could thank Alex in person for the soothing help he's giving me simply using his beautiful voice and his guitar. Alex is a talented lad with a great croon, I think people take his humour the wrong way theres alot of folk who thinks he's become an asshole but I cant help but think he's just not taken himself and his success very seriously which is something that should be applauded, people get wound up by him because they dont realise his tongue is stuck firmly in the cheek
