what do you mean? i don't think it was awkward at all, i feel like that was the joke, like she was acting awkward but that's only cause Alex doesn't talks much and she has to keep it fast and Matt was trying to do his best, and they cracked jokes.too

Just Alex? If I had been him, I wouldn't have been able to utter a single word, I believe. What's more, incoherent questions deserve no more than incoherent answers, so she was way too lucky to have them in front. Anyway, Matt's simply incredible here, pure gold, all wit.
When she makes the questions about Suck It And See, Alex seems ready to get the hell out. It's obvious for his reaction he doesn't want it to mean something sexual or at least not during this interview, she made both of them uncomfortable AND IT WAS SO OBVIOUS. She attacked him with questions implying he was drunk and sexually aggressive because of the name of the album, glad he just sat there looking like he couldn't wait for the whole thing to be over. And glad Matt was there to bring some laughs and kill the awkward silences.
As an Englishman I can confirm that the phrase "Suck it and See" is an British phrase which essentially means "try it and find out" which is an appropriate album title for a plain beige album cover it makes sense so you don't go in expecting anything, terrible interview though
so true, and the fact they’re so reluctant to explain it is both out of annoyance and literally reflecting the central idea of the album - don’t have it explained, just listen to it :))

Alex looked so done with the questions. Like he said to Matt, "Thank God you're here!" Weird interview for sure. The facial expressions were hilarious especially Alex's

this was so uncomfortable to watch. her questions were disrespectful and her attitude was rude. "are you drunk?" is NOT a good way to start an interview. asking them unrelated questions to the music like what your fav adjective is wtf??? and there was no segway between lines of questioning. iheartradio needs to do better.
This interview made me so uncomfortable. It was hard to watch it because of the interviewer. She was really weird and it was obvious that Alex and Matt were uncomfortable too.
3:20 "im definitely 28 years, sorry..i dont know what day it is" and then gives a cheeky smile. This made me laugh. Who doesnt know their birthday in this age and time. Classic alex.
Probably because she makes famous persons feel uncomfortably. :) I know it feels much better when someone is flatteringly licking your arse, but for me it's much interesting to watch when it's like she does...
I think she is brilliant! Most interviewers are boring and have NO sense of humor. She brings something new to the table, and I think The Arctic Monkeys enjoyed not having to answer the same old questions all over again. :)
This interviewer asks really weird questions, she asked ezra if ge lost his virginity the same time he got high and drunk. I think she needs to tone it down a bit.
every interview i've seen this lady do has been extremely embarrassing. it's like she's trying to be quirky and cute but it just comes off as making everyone confused and uncomfortable. i don't like spreading hate but this interviewer (kennedy i believe her name is?) needs to work on a few things !!
She's just trying to be quirky but Alex just wants respect. Such dare to ask the SIAS question! But it don't work to go from that to the serious biggest fear ask. As said thank god for Matt!
@@colleen5100 I always have to skip over the question Abt his area bc it's just sooo uncomfortable and annoying, and they both just look so done the entire interview.
it ws going so well until the suck it and see question, Alex looked pissed off after that. Matt basically saved the interview, imagine how awkward it wouldve been if he wasn't there!
