About Austin City Limits

Matt is a simple guy who doesn't like to be the center of attention and exaggerations, and Alex is the opposite of that, so it's natural that he doesn't like those things Alex do... Also, another evidence of Matt being tired of Alex on stage, is when he sings the second verse of Arabella. In Reading 2014, Matt says "he's out of it" when Al sings in another rhythm. It's just those little things that bothers Matt and I think it's completely normal, since we are talking about his best friend and knowing each other for many years, living close enough to know the flaws of a person.

austin city limits seems to mess up the audio alot. if you watch alabama shakes play it sounds like the drums are recorded from outside the venue.

He seems pretty jaded now, not a bad thing but don't think he has the energy / will to play these kind of songs now, wouldn't be surprised if during the next album sessions, he specifically works on making a new lively show closer that's more similar to the TBHC sound, like a mix of Four Out of Five and 505.
