Fun fact: Matt Helders had no drum experience prior to joining the band, he only plays the drums because "every other instrument was taken" unreal

It's been 15 years since I stood in that crowd. Watching reactions to this is still almost as exciting as being there. Plus less exhaustion:)

This was only a year after they released their debut album in 2006, which was the fastest selling album of all time in the UK for a very long time. More than 360k copies in the first week of its release! It was just incredible to see a band that had only released their debut album a year prior, headlining one of the biggest (if not the biggest) festival next year. That was just unheard of back then. They were also really young in this performance too, They were all 20-21 years old here!

matt helders is an insane fuckin drummer, absolute legend.

To hear these songs again for the first time and get goosebumps would be amazing!

I would recommend fluorescent adolescence by the arctic monkeys and a certain kind of romance by the Arctic monkeys both really good songs
