Awesome video, Scott. I'm a hardware guy interested in doing a rocketry project, and this is exactly what I was looking for. I gained a lot of insight from the thorough breakdown of the rocketry side, and will have a look at the code later as a starting point for data processing. Thanks so much!
Hi Scott. I enjoyed watching your video and it gave me some ideas. I wonder - did it fly with your altimeter/camera ‘strapped to the side’? I would have thought that aerodynamics and offset of centre of mass from the centre of the rocket body would prevent a straight flight. Be interested to hear how it went.
Do you have a parts list for building this? Which altimeter, arduino and data logger did you use? I want to log the altitude of my rocket but I like to home brew where possible. Also, would it be possible to add a camera to the setup? I've got a few arduino with cameras.
