For first time Arduino users this is a step by step demo of attaching your Arduino to a PC, selecting and troubleshooting the Com Port and finally uploading a Sketch. #arduinonano #loadsketch
I just saw on the geotech forums that you successfully completed the crossbow! congrats. I will be making a baracuda as per your advice and i have ordered boards but it takes long time to reach me so it will be a while.
Oh yes, thank you. The Crossbow is a good project. A couple of other members are working on it now. I have my Nano PI boards however I need to wait for the correct Mosfet so I shan't be building that quite yet unfortunately.
Hi Alec. Thanks for the Guide, I've always been OK wth Pics/AVR but struggled when it comes to Arduino. Looking forward to the Build Videos of the new Detector progress! Regards, Marty.
@@SurfDetector Brilliant! I'm still waiting to hear from Andy about when his boards are due to order mine. No rush yet, cos' I'm building the Preamp circuit for the Crossbow tonight and it's taking a while because I'm documenting it all for the Crossbow build guide as I go. I'll keep you posted though! Regards, Marty.
I am tempted to start building the project however I really don't want to solder the Nano directly to the PCB. My parts are on the slow boat from China and wont be here for another week.
For me nano is 2nd board and I have it on com5 whenever I do uploading the loading green line is stuck at the end and visually doesn't go further, after 1 minute the errors come out and say avrdude: stk500... and than many of them. On hardware the RX blinks very shortly 3 times and stops. Please help
There are some good troubleshooting steps in this thread arduino.stackexchange.com/questions/17/avrdude-stk500-getsync-not-in-sync-resp-0x00-aka-some-dude-named-avr-won
My interest in the Arduino nano is solely for its use in metal detector projects. The assistance that I can offer due to my limited free time is the production of these videos only.
Not sure I understand your question. Are you asking about G-Code for a CNC machine? If so, here is some good info that should help. github.com/gnea/grbl/wiki/Compiling-Grbl
@@SurfDetector Hi Sorry I did not explain it very well. I have 3d printed a watch winder and I need to put a github program on to my ArduinoNano from a link that the person attached below his project. I am not at all good at the electronics side, but I have done everything except getting this github code on to my board as I do not know what other software I need to achieve this. Many thanks.
