I really enjoy this OG vs. Visvim-Interpretation series! So cool to get to now about all these small details in products. Hope you're doing well, keep up and take care! Peace :D
The g.patten are supposed to be resoleable based on the website description (I kinda doubt it, however), come with a vibram sole which seems to be more robust than the standard sole. I also found that they are true to size, rather than the half size big as you mentioned, which screwed up my initial purchase. Part of the sizing seems to be that the toebox is more restrictive, due to the rubber outsole covering the toebox, and as you mentioned the insole elevates your foot a bit more than a traditional skagway. Overall many retailers have the g.patten for sub 700 retail, and I expect other retailers to hit discount since they don't seem to be overly popular. I didn't see you mention it, but I find that my g.patten's fit more like a boot, rather than a sneaker. This makes sense if you lift the insole, the footbed is a thick slab of tanned leather, topped with a cork heelpad, and a thick felt insole with leather top. They are also extremely heavy for a sneaker, and to me would not look good with shorts as much as a regular skag low. Nice review!
Love your videos man, such good quality, really rare to find. I was wondering if you were able to snag the Ultimate FZ hoodies that recently dropped. I have a black and a grey one but didn't get the white one. The black one has significantly less fleece and is less soft than the grey one. I was curious if you or anyone knows if the colorway is dependent on how the product is made.
I didn't get the FZ version but I got the regular pullover hoodie in the grey color way. I believe the grey is unprocessed/undyed so it could be with dyeing the fabric gets less soft
@@zabo358pure honestly Wallis fits relatively the same for every size and only differs in length slightly. I have a size 1 and size 3 and they fit almost the same lol
