Whats going on guys! We got some FoxBody content finally making its way on the channel! Definitely love these cars and honestly one of my favorite body styles for sure. I don't know man y'all let me know if the NewEdge 1999-2004 Mustang New Edge is the Modern day Fox Body Project Cars! The new edge is stupid cheap right now. Especially the V6 models if you're planning to engine swap them. I prefer both. The new edge body is a bit more gimmicky with all the plastic cading. I don't think personally one is better than the other. They both have a place in my heart 😂

The New Edge is the way to go all the way around..The light Fox chassis with a newer stiffer design…And the looks to beat them all…

I just had to sell my new edge gt convertible 100,000 miles a few days ago cuz I lost my job. It's had a new rear end and rear diff🤧🤧🤧she was a beast she had so much potential smh. The best mustang I had. That was my 3rd one😭🤦

Never seen your videos. But I enjoy this one. I’m older now and I had both a fox body 88 gt and at the time bought new 2000 gt. And I always like to look what the market is for this cars. And u can ether inflammation is making any used car more money. But I did notice before the pandemic new edge were so cheap and foxbody were just going up on price. And now the new edge are really up in price so they are becoming the new fox body just because it’s becoming more rare to find many fox bodies. I barely see them anymore. And u are right. Having over 40 cars in my life and driven so many. The experience of the foxbody is unique. It feels more raw and easier to play around.

Love hearing this for an official fox body owner! I completely agree with the pandemic pricing during covid. Prices got hit hard some places more than overs for sure. Fox Body’s definitely are getting more rare especially non ran down ones. And exactly! the feelings a driving one those is just unmatchable for a true project car. I bought a 1990 LX and loved it but in terms of daily driving it I had to sell it, broke down on me the 5/6 months I owned it and definitely the way it was set up was badass. Cams headers full exhaust tune, but yeah my 01 cobra I have now which I paid less for than what I sold my foxbody for and is in every way a better car. But the foxbodys are special no doubt!!

Funny you post this I’ve always had foxbodys but since I sold my last one I’ve bought a 3v 08 premium 5spd and now I recently bought an 02 convertible gt auto that I’m going to work on. So far I got longtubes cut the mufflers off airaid cold air intake, bbk 78mm tb/plenum an sct tuner nx wet single nozzle kit 125 shot at the moment and some deep dish rims on back wrapped in 305-35-17 nitto 555r. But I’ve actually got a lot of parts still piled in the garage getting ready to go on. Set of coil overs, performance automatic shift kit, b&m 2800rpm stall, 3.55 gears and a 2.1 Kenne bell supercharger kit. Hoping to get time to put all that on in the next couple weeks. It’s the first new edge I’ve owned and honestly without the nitrous probably the slowest lol. Actually was looking around in the local u pull it hard and I’ve found a couple aluminum teksid blocks I plan on pulling. I have a set of svt Manley rods I plan on putting in one for the 2v Kenne bell setup. Then the other I plan on building the complete bottom end to put in the 3v since it’s getting a single turbo setup soon. Right now the 3v is full bolt on including the ford racing intake manifold, Howard rattler cams, 4.10 gears and a zex single nozzle wet kit also on a 125 shot. Can’t wait to get them both boosted. Hoping to eventually make 700+ rwhp with the 3v and 500-600rwhp on the 2v. Probably closer to 500rwhp since ima be using the factory crank and only putting in rods.

@@oscar_2v hopefully after I get the Kenne bell on I can start working on the cosmetics. I really like the way your new edge looks. Definitely want that cobra bumper and the roll bar. I’d like to get a cowl hood and cobra side skirts eventually too. I’d really like to paint it the same silver as yours mine is a charcoal gray think it’s called graphite more of a brown than gray to me lol. It’s just too much work to change the color though so I’ll probably just respray it the same oem color.

@@justa3v619 Yeah you can’t go wrong with the metallic silver! I absolutely fell in love with the color with it not even being in good condition when I first bought it but when I got it resprayed it for sure hit home for me. Gather up all those cobra parts and get it painted after bc one thing about silver it’s always hard to paint match it after it’s sprayed. I remember when I had the original paint, I had a bad ding on the fender and I got a new one and I could see the difference in the matching no matter how good the painter is. The tint in the silver may always be a shade off. 🙏

10 years ago fox bodies weren't anything special. now they're collectors. I believe the same thing is currently happening with new edge mustangs. I have an 01 vert gt with 50k miles and I baby it. In 10 years I believe they will have the same collector aspect as fox bodies.

The fox body market is insane and will continue to escalate. The New Edge market will be there in the next 5 to 10 years. I remember looking to purchase an 86 coupe that didn't run and needed a little bodywork for 500 bucks in 2017....I purchased a clean 2003 instead, but that 86 coupe today would easily sell for 7500 or more.
