Maybe the 2 valve might not win all the races, but it's some of the best sounding engines Ford ever made. With full bolt-ons, cams, full length headers and a tune they are surprisingly pretty quick .

I know it's not my car, but I've just never been a fan of the tires behind the fenders. Fenders sitting right to 1/2" to 1/4" above the tire is where it's at with the tire lined up the fender or close enough to where it doesn't rub.
What he do to keep the shaker hood? How'd he bolt the shaker to the hood instead of it staying down i the engine bay when he opens the hood. I want to supercharge my mach 1 like this and keep the shaker but I've never seen it done. Untim this mach 1
Hey guys, I wanted to ask I live in California too. I used to own a 2004 mustang GT the 40th anniversary edition it was black on black on Chrome. Mine came from the show room floor with the five star chrome pony rooms. I don’t have those bill it like it rims like everybody did. I think it must’ve been an option or something and I had leather in my car with the big headrest and my cousin has a 2003 GT and his has cloth. but I was going to ask you guys because when I sold my 2004, I was running a magna flow 2 1/2 inch off-road expo up here in California but when you sell the car smog it you have to put the original pipe back on in California so you guys in California is that are buying mustangs if you’re putting new exhaust on it like two cats or no cats make sure you save your old pipe because when it comes time to smog you’re gonna need all four cats because that’s what they want now whatever your car came off the showroom floor if it had four cats and don’t want you to show up with two high flow cats they want you to show up with four cats but anyways back to the magna flow I have a magna flow off-road expo. I also have the Mail delete plugs that turns off your check engine light I was wondering can you run an 04 off-road pipe On a 03 GT or a 99 tow Ford GT I know you can I know for but I thought I was reading something about in 2003 they were different. Ok some facts. The sn95 was 94 to 98. Sn95 new edge was 99 to 04. S197 3v was 2005 to 2010. S197 5.0 was 2011 to 2014. Yes, from 1979 to 2004 the chassis is a foxbody.
As the previous owner of 2, I can say YES they are a fun and "worth it" car to own, IF you can get a good deal on a clean one, or don't mind wrenching or walleting to get where you want. Now, with 2024 prices going on for these "classics" maybe not so much these days... Still great cars, with lots of upgrade potential and a solid aftermarket.
