The US is almost entirely responsible for the problems in Haiti. It invaded the country in 1915 under criminal president Wilson and stayed there until Roosevelt became president. Even before that the US had used gunboat diplomacy try to steal Haitian land. Then in 1914, it stole the Haitian government gold reserves and placed them in a bank in NYC. It was the same bank as that of the banker who planned the invasion. So does anyone expect anything good to come from US involvement? The US is only concerned about US business interests and not at all about the Haitians.

I just wondering how haitians will government themselves? How they going to create a new era of institutions? Let's be clear! this little nation located in 3/4 of Hispaniola, since the beginning has been a fallen state no matter support, interventions, aids, ONG's etc... The reason behind this! Haiti as a society remains primitive, there's lack of education, corruption, birthrate out control, its economy out trend, a typical fallen state) they don't know how to get organized . If you look it statically 80% of population is uneducated, there isn't any basic services, health assistance, food for its own people, therefore no solid institutions.. Beside Haitians politicians just think in power and themselves they're don't care about their own people.. I think that's part of Haiti culture. Caos, struggling, lack of opportunities etc..

it's a nation's job to build its own strong institutions, the West can't do it for them and if it did, they'd say they're racist. We're not equal, the world is not a utopia, groups have collective interests, we're talking as if Haitians are children with no agency.
