I'd love to see a kitchen tour of Dr. Greger's house to see the products he actually uses. I've been following his advice for years and am always making adjustments as he shares info (hibiscus tea and how to cook greens in the instapot are two examples). Anyway, I'd love to see what pots and pans, bowls, cooking utensils, etc., he thinks are the best to use.

James Parker, I see it as more of a cause 😉 don’t think I don’t realise the consumption of meat is becoming slowly outlawed. For me it’s the equivalent of them trying to ban vegetables. I see it as a health food - sorry, have done plenty of research and still do (please don’t send links to 200 bogus cherry picked studies - I’ve been there done that!). Over the last few years I’ve increased consumption & quality and I don’t want to go back all my health markers improved massively. James Parker. James Parker, you seem a little triggered 😂 maybe hangry! Science has become your religion and you’re too foolish to understand the main driver behind science has always been money. You’re too foolish to understand that 2 million + years of sapiens eating a significant amount of meat/fat has changed our physiology to the point where veganism will at best be tolerated by the body for a few years. This is why the majority fail. Please don’t take any medicine (vegans call them supplements) and watch yourself fade over 10 yrs. Then get back to me with thanks for trying to help you.

Best to not use aluminium moka pots at all, which is a shame as it’s a classic design. Moka pots are shown at 2:50, and the article can be read in full here: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5388725/ I might have to consider getting a Bialetti stainless steel moka pot to replace my (long disused) aluminium pot, they have three different stainless steel moka pots, “Kitty”, “Musa” and “Venus”. Bialetti say they’re 100% stainless steel. If you look at the reviews on Amazon you’ll see the consensus seems to be that they’re 100% stainless steel, although there’s a few people that reckon some of the internal parts are aluminium.

If the presence of stainless steel has a significant impact on aluminum leaching into food from foil, what about stainless steel pans with an aluminum core?
@Fridelain
@Fridelain 2 года назад
The foil is in direct contact with the food (and their surrounding the food). Not so in the pan where it is contained.

What about injecting aluminum (like in vaccines?)
@oasenhoheit
@oasenhoheit 4 года назад
I don't know about Aluminum in Vaccines. But in his book HNTD, the chapter about Parkinsons desease, Dr. Greger mentioned mercury and vaccines, and that 12 mercury-containing vaccines AT ONCE are even not enough to raise a child's blood level of mercury as much as if its mother ate fish just ONCE A WEEK during pregnency. In the case of Mercury, he says you should avoid it as much as you can, but still the benefits of vaccines by far outweigh their risks, which can't be said about eating fish in that scenario. I can only guess, that it might be similar with Aluminum.
@oasenhoheit
@oasenhoheit 4 года назад
@Daniel Spajic I just quote Dr. Greger. If you don't agree with this statement, tell him, not me. You can find the sources he based his information on in his book, and you can message him and his staff directly, if you are of the impression, they left out some important contradicting sources.

Use a magnet - if it sticks it's not aluminum. Also, the surface of aluminum is more susceptible to scratches and doesn't look as refined as stainless steel. Aluminum generally looks "cheaper" and has less weight.
