⚠ UPDATES 1. Baseus WM05 DOES support multipoint connection, but it doesn't make the battery life any better, which is a dealbreaker unless you use it with ANC turned off, AND turns out the original price is $50 but I got it on sale for just $27 duh 😂 that's even harder to recommend 2. It's actually a bit tricky for the app to detect the earbuds, I almost had to add every model manually, and even then I had to reset the earbuds (put in case take back out) for it to finally connect to the app
Thank you so much I'm glad to hear that! Will definitely keep the series going, cause you know I'm genuinely interested in knowing more of these other brands that I've never checked out too! Haha
Yo yo yo! I can assure that Baseus makes some great earbuds for the price! I have the Encok WM01 and they're great! But HUGE NOTE!! Don't use your phone charger to charge your earbuds, because I've noticed that at least on my unit, after a few months, it started overheating for some reason, and sadly the case and the left earbud won't hold a charge, again, don't use your phone charger unless it can output 18 watts or less, since the input for the USB-C port is 5V DC 300mAh and that only Edit: thanks for convincing me to stay with thr Encok WM01 😂 all of these problems really push me back in a good way, so I'm going to buy another pair, because I can't fix what's not broken👍❤️
hii i want to ask if I have a cellphone charger that has an output of 5.0V - 2.0A and input 100-240V can the cellphone charger be used to charge the tws baseus wm03 and wm 02 ?? (sorry if Im wrong cuz i use goggle translate )
Great review as always, you should check the new edifier tws1 pro2, the price is similar with tws1 pro but packed with bunch of new features. And maybe compare it with tws1 pro and free2 classic?
Ah cool they’ve got the new version now yeah! I wasn’t a big fan of the first one since it gets harsh, but let’s hope they tune it better this time around
You get what you pay for. I have several Baseus products and all of them have charging issues (including their backup battery banks, which is a hilarious problem for a backup battery to have). Like all products made in China, it’s possible to end up with something decent when you buy a Baseus product, but it’s likely that you’ll end up with a product that has issues because Baseus doesn’t do quality control. After I contacted Baseus support, they wanted me to send them lots of pictures and videos to show them how I was charging my devices (as if it were somehow possible to incorrectly plug a USB-C cord into a backup battery). It was too much of a hassle.
Strange coincidence, I got 2 Baseus buds last week on sale...but you did not test either model. The WM02+ (which I think is like the WM02 but fancy case). And the AirNora2. The surprise is the AirNora2. The best sound and noise reduction of all out of the box. Plus the most tiny. They advertise them for women's ears, but they fit my giant man ears just fine. My EQ curves look a lot like yours. If you get a chance to listen to the AirNora2 do it!
I think you missed out that Baseus Bowie WM05 actually has Multi-point feature. If I remember correctly, Baseus did not mention anything at all when I bought it 6-months ago. But one of my viewers pointed it out recently. I decided to verify it and interestingly, Baseus quietly added this Multi-point feature to WM05. Baseus calls it "Baseus Smart-Connect" or BSC. I tested it out with multiple platforms and it works. The switch back and forth between two devices is very smooth. AFAIK, This feature wasn't mentioned on the Packaging. It wasn't mentioned in the technical specs. Baseus also did not mention it in the User Manual. But yeah, WM05 comes with Multi-Point connection feature.
To be clear, I am aware of it but yes it was not mentioned anywhere in the box, just for me I found it in the product description where I bought it from. Problem is when I tried to pair two devices, I use the hold the case button method to pair to 2 devices right, I’m connected to my Android and tried to connect from my iPhone, I was instead instructed to forget the pairing. Maybe I wasn’t doing it correctly? As I do not have any firmware update prompt showing up either. Curious but hey it’s a good selling point if it does work 😁
@@namedkenn Ahhhh! The process to activate the Multi-point feature is a bit troublesome in the beginning. 1) After BT pairing is completed with your 1st device, switch off the Bluetooth on the 1st device. WM05 should re-enter in BT pairing mode. Proceed to do the BT pairing with your 2nd device. 2) During the BT pairing process, if WM05 doesn't show up on the 2nd device, you will need to press & hold the button at the back of the WM05 case, to kinda "reboot" the case back to "BT pairing mode" . 3) Once WM05 is back to BT pairing mode, it's the same BT pairing process with your 2nd device. 4) After BT pairing is completed with your 2nd device, go back and switch on the Bluetooth on the 1st device. WM05 should automatically connect to both devices. So far, it works on almost all OS platforms, except for Linux, ubuntu, Playstation, Xbox and Switch, as I don't have those stuffs. I tried with Smart TV... it didn't work.
I have QCY T13, soundpeats mini pro, soundpeats free 2 CLASSIC, baseus EZ10, and I prefer only EZ10. Its light weight, best for working out, bluetooth range is very good, better than free 2 classic and T13. Sound volume is perfect, not to loud, bass is also punchy. I hate soundpeats no matter what quality of sound is . Its bulky and Heavy, also it falls out from ear, eartips are the worst quality. Baseus for the win, I pick EZ10 when released for 9$
Please if you know, what is the best earbuds with very loud and crystal clear and all details sound with 3d or Dolby Atmos if can ? But not too expensive I sow some.. like Baseus Bowie MA10, Baseus Bowie M2s , QCY HT05, SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro ..etc or you know better one that have the features i mentioned
Greetings from a Malaysia! Enjoyed your reviews of buds so far. Have you done the review of Realfit F2 pro. Currently using Ez Basues. Keep up the great show bro!
And it has absolutely abysmal quality control, it's on sale for about 15 dollars in China right now. I can tell you even with 15 bucks it's a rip-off. Just returned on pair myself.
I actually tested both 1 to 10 and honestly barely feel any differnece between them Also for multipoint I did try to confirm it as well and it didn’t work, pairing is actually a bit of a chore, when I pair it to my Android, then I tried to connect from my iPhone, instead I was instructed to delete the pairing and do it from scratch
@@namedkenn but my multipoint is working with my laptop and iphone i dont know with android and iphone and the anc works fine the level 1 and it is better than to Soundpeats mini pro
How about the Bowie MA10 earbuds for $22? Worth trying? My main pair is the TOZO NC7 and I want to leave them at home. I'm tired of losing earbuds at work etc and I want to keep better track of them. Thanks.
A suggestion to these kind of videos. Please put more b-rolls or zoomed in videos with 360 rotation of the actual products. It is more intuitive than seeing a face talking without seeing the actual product. 😅
Hi Kenn! Few ywars ago I bought a qcy t1c based on your review and I was super satisfied with the sound. Recently I bought a soundcore A3i life which I hate after using it! Could you review the new qcy ht07? I want to know if it is any good to buy.
Amazing video as always ken, btw would you make a video about LGs TWS?, I'm eager to try the LG TONE FP8 would love to hear it from you since not that many RU-vidrs cover the LG tws lineup
Thank you so much! I’ve actually been trying to get in touch with them but with no luck, so probably I’ll just buy their stuff myself and do the same! So yeah absolutely let’s make this come true 😁
@@namedkenn thanks so much ken, you're literally one of my fave RU-vidrs for this type of thing, btw is the Neobuds pro still worth it to buy for now?, Or is there any good tws in the range price of under Rp 1500k (I've watched your video and some El Jefe now Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro and 4 is on my wishlist)
Hi Kenn! I'm really curious if the sound of wm02 and ez10 leaks at mid or high volume. I'm planning on buying these earbuds and I hate it when other people can hear what music I'm listening to. Thanks!
Love this Kenneth! I just tried out the M2s, similar frustrations with the app and controls 😩 ANC on the M2s was surprisingly very good though, and they support multipoint (well, kinda)
Hey nice to see you here! 😁 I just looked it up and actually looks cool (like the latest Xiaomi Buds Pro haha) but until they fix the controls I would really have a hard time recommending them What's the problem with the multipoint though? Is it like the earbuds only pair to one device at a time, but can easily switch devices by tapping the paired name from another device?
@@namedkenn yep the case copied the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro and the buds look identical to the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2, but the Baseus are WAY more comfortable. I've got them in for review but I've got a few in front of them first, even so they're the ones I've been using the most recently mostly just due to the comfort. The sound signature is really similar to QCY HT07 (bass-heavy and a bit bloated around the midbass, with a little excessive upper midrange recess) The multipoint is fairly stable, although you can't switch it on or off (in the app or otherwise), so sometimes you'll be connected to something and you have no idea what it is 😩 one day I was cycling to work and didn't realise it was connected to the laptop in my bag, and it decided to just switch over and no longer stay connected to my phone 😭 it seems like you have to reset the earbuds and clear the memory, then re-pair with one device just to prevent multipoint being a problem again. Hopefully these are just teething problems of Baseus starting to take budget TWS more seriously and they'll listen to feedback from reviewers and iron out these little creases, let's hope so anyway. Hope you and the fam are doing well, good to see you back with some great content lately! 🙌
@@ReganCipherhi man, I always check your reviews on the web side before buying a budget headphone. So I kinda wanna ask you about which one do you recommend between qcy ht 05 and the m2s in term of sound quality and anc ?
After all this time I still don't know what encok is supposed to mean (in Chinese? Oppo also has an Encok line I think). I only know the sakit pinggang.
Hi just subscribed to your channel and I'd really like to see a review on the awei brand. They are always so well packaged but I'd like to know about the sound and build quality.
At 10:11 and forward, you are correct. The spatial sound is pure bullsh*t because I have WM03. However, the sounds of WM03 is really when it is in normal mode.
i received the ez10 today. compare to my soundpeats clear 3 times the price i prefere the ez10.... bass soundpeats, rest ez10 max volume soundpeats real battery life ez10 5h, soundpeats 4h(for 7h).... comfort ez10 every day! apps = for the price the ez10 is amazing!
Baseus is number one best seller tws with anc feature in Indonesia, but unfortunately content creator who focused on audio rarely talk about this. Because I want to buy tws for the first time, I got confused by this fact. I guess because for first time user, it was an easy option (sort by best-seller product on e-commerce)? I would like to hear your opinion on these tws(if you’d tried one), Edifier TWS 1 Pro 2, Soundcore life dot3i, Redmi buds 3 pro, or realme buds air 3? They had same price range in my country. Thank you.
How about the sounds quality of EZ10 compares to Haylou Gt1 (2022), Ken? I just need a secondary cheap tws to go out, but i kinda interested in low latency mode that gt1 offered to play some fps games.
Het Kenn! I have been using the WM02 for around two or three months, and I love them since I can just chuck them in my small pocket and not worrying about them falling, I only have one issue with them: The mesh WILL fall off, one of them already did, and they get really dirty real fast. Another thing, I hope one of these days you do a review on the Baseus H1i, because I have been looking at those and I havent seen anything over ear with anc this cheap.
I also agree with the mesh problem but my experience was with the WM01. This is notable since I am already window shopping for WM02. Thanks, y'all! If there's any value I can give, please don't use an ear cleaner on the mesh. 🤦 Now it's stuck inside and I'm using only one side.
I've got Soundpeats Free2 Classics but lost it last month. Im wandering around looking for earbuds, should I buy Baseus WM03 or Buy another Soundpeats Free2 Classics? (Or is there any other recommended earbuds around that price range)
hello ken, right now I'm confused what tws I want to buy and my budget is 300-500 thousand (btw I live in Indonesia). I usually use TWS to listen to Spotify songs of all genres (hiphop, rnb, dangdut, classic to metal). I am eyeing quitebuds eggel products, nakamichi and soundcore r50i. between the 3 brands, what product do you recommend that I buy? or do you have any other suggestions? in advance I thank you very much ken, success is always ken sorry if my english is bad ken 🙏
That’s a crazy range of genre but I love it! 😆 Unfortunately I haven’t tried any of those you mentioned, but they’re definitely in my list to test out! Honestly tho for now I’ll put my money on the Free2 Classic, such a great all rounder with great battery life and controls! Check my sub $30 recos here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bNVF9V_n7oU.html
@@namedkenn Woahh thank for your recommendation and thank you for replying me ken 🙏 btw now I'm using tronsmart spunky beat. I bought this tronsmart because I saw your video review and recommendation in 2020 and yes, this tws is very durable aka "badak". For 3 years of use there have been no significant problems or errors. the error only connects to Windows, connects to an Android cellphone or iPhone smoothly 😁
I recommend it for general use but for calls to be honest none at this budget range perform well (unless you go up to Soundpeats Air3 Deluxe HS or FIIL CC Nano)
Heyy soul is a very interesting brand indeed, but I just haven’t had the chance to check them out, thanks for mentioning I’ll try note them now! In the meantime you can check out my mic test here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4nRsLxZaGKg.html
Following you for a long time. Too bad, many of awesome earbuds that you have reviewed aren't available in India & sellers don't ship here. Even Baseus official website of India doesn't have any of audio products.
It’s a shame really, but what can I do to help is ask you, what kind of options are available to buy in India? And also what e-commerce do you use the most?
Halo dan salam kenal! Sebetulnya sudah ada rekomendasinya di video ini yaitu Redmi Buds 3 Pro, harganya juga sudah turun karena bukan model terbaru (tapi masih sangat bagus)
bro the small earbuds is such a good feature for me! I've tried a lot of earphones out there and my ear suffers with all the earbuds provided for so long
For example you got it connected to your phone and laptop, you can answer the call right away with the buds, afterwards get back to the laptop without pairing-unpairing
I grab whatever phone around so yes I do listen on Android as well, and I use Apple Music since that's the one I mainly use, I also use RU-vid Music from time to time
Man another new flagship just after I finished my review of the Enco X2 😂 I’m excited to try it out but unfortunately it’s only in India atm and not in my country
@@namedkennguess what? it fit and it charge normally. i recently bought ez10 just to charge my wm02, its perfectly fits to the ez10 housing because wm02 and ez10 have a same size.
