No hate but that test is pretty useless if you put different tyres. They make waaaay more difference than different breaks. Especially because your wheels were already locking up with the stock breaks. New breaks are never bad but your comparison was pretty meaningless.

Idk how many miles on your z but with stock cats/prob mostly clogged. Allot of hp to be gained with test pipes and headers. Plus light weight undrive pulleys, socketed and chipped ecu and you already have upgraded clutch with light weight flywheel. Really free up them horse puppies on the z32. Esp being na. These mods above make a huge difference

Ok, so this is not how brakes work. Braking distance is determined by 3 things 1. Tire grip 2. ABS system 3. Brake balance Having a pad with a higher bite coefficient might change brake balance but if paired with a matching set of pads it shouldnt. The rotors do not affect brake distance at all. The addition of slots or holes in the rotor is for excess gas to escape and to clean off the pad as it skims across the rotor. Not doing the test in the same place would be my explanation on why the stopping distance is greater because I did hear the stock brakes chirp the tires. This means that the stock brakes are just limited by the amount of grip the tires could provide. Any more questions feel free to ask.

Bruh you uploaded this 4 days too late! My gf just got her brakes done and she had to get a caliper, rotor, and both front pads, all that together was $10 less than what a full rotor and pads kit costs from Hawk, she could've had upgraded brakes for like $50 more than what she paid!

In my old 86, my mechanic did something to the brake booster that increased the pressure, I had to relearn how to brake because if I stomped on the pedal, the brakes locked and stopped on a dime.

Canadians as fas as I know uses normal measurements (metric system), wth you say the speed in km/h and then stoping distance is in football fields? lol

If you try to do some test with some sense u should do it in the same place because of the road surface, if it rains you change place u have different tires the comparison is useless. Btw front calipers are 4 pistons not dual piston 🧐
