A common question posed by many interested in clear aligners is "Are Clear Aligners Painful?"
Well, this video tries to clear out the air surrounding clear aligners... they are not painful as such because the movement planned in each aligner is 0.25-0.3 mm...that's less than half a mm!!
But yes...initially you might feel a bit of discomfort and pain during removal of aligners and while eating...generally the discomfort disappears in 2-3days.
When you switch to a new aligner then obviously a certain tightness is felt initially which gradually you get used to as time goes on.
