Are Collectors Sleeping on Paradox Rift - Full Booster Box Opening 

Tbh… the problem I think with me and maybe even more people out there, is that I’m seeing literally every single card in the sets weeks and months before they come out sometimes. After awhile I don’t even know if I want to spend money trying to open any wondering what I will pull. When I was a kid I did give a shit because there was only base set and I didn’t google what all was in the set… we just open a pack up and see what we get and be grateful we got a freakin holo 😂

Pokemon might as well turn itself into Digimon, because that's the direction I'm seeing here. 💯

I wouldn’t call it under rated so much as it’s overshadowed. People are still going nuts over 151, plus an announcement for the Japanese spring set.

i ordered a box for 113 and i may try to get one by the end of the year hoping it comes down so i can have a little left to buy the erika card from 151 on the side

Funny I pulled the gold garchomp EX, & pulled the regular full art roaring moon, also got 3 regular illustration rares

Great set ,l already ordered a few ETB, and I am going after Mela, Seda, Tulip, and Parasol Lady Waifu characters and the reset will be bonus!. Love the gold set and look amazing in SV04. Can't wait.😅

Opened a booster box today trying to pull the groudon. But unfortunately it was a no go. Got both the SIR and full art mela but my favorite pull was the magby IR

The roaring moon full art is super underrated imo. The card just pops imo.

I think Obsidian Flame is underrated and people are sleeping on it instead since they are tired of Charizard. It might get a reemergence in a couple of years.

The illustration rares from the set is fantastic. I the cards that depict Pokemon in the real world. Super excited for Steelix and Porygon-Z!

I have never bought a booster box but i think i will for this set.

Illustration rare average per box is 3. Most ive seen is 4 and that was back in paldea evolved after watching a multitude of booster box openings. And ive never seen 5 in a q booster box

I love paradox rift. I legit think this set will be the most expensive scarlet violet set next to 151. I feel like this is the baby version of evo skies so much alt arts in the same rarity tier.

Being a newer collector this really pumps me up for this new set. I hope it's easier to find than 151. Awesome job, keep up the great work.

I just got back into Pokémon for the dueling aspect. Trying to play the game also opened the collector in me. I’ll probably go heavy into this set.

Got roaring on my 4th pack

I started collecting Pokemon tcg very recently and after having a decent collection of crown zenith and opening some 151's too, I realised how difficult it's starting to get to get a hand on those packs for a good price (in 151's case, for a reasonable price). I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier but I decided to collect a non specialty set which would make finding cheap packs way easier and ultimately decided on paradox rift which honestly appealed to me the most out of all the scarlet and violet sets and it's going to be my first new release set. Super excited.

Havent got to open it im really looking forward to it.

this is the first set i haven’t preordered anything since i got back into the hobby in 2020. just too many expenses right now… i’ll come back when the prices on boxes go sub $100

The art is good but Im going to get singles because they def nerfed the pull rates. I watched at least a dozen box openings and it looks like only 1 SIR or Gold per booster instead of 2 SIR or 1 of each.

Been holding off on your videos until i got my pokemon center paradox rift etbs because i wanted some first reveal excitement in person. Ive opened 1 etb and it had the roaring moon ex SIR and the steelix IR. Also the regular tulip trainer card and a couple ex cards. Gotta say im beyond stoked with my luck and this set.

Other than 151 this is my favorite sv set, amazing art, super excited to open this week on video!

For me personally, while there are some great illustration rares (love that steelix) but..... I'm not keen on the paradox designs of Pokémon or the tera thing, saw it when they announced it for the switch game and thought "..... Meh". So yeah thinking that most of the big pulls will be off then types, it's not for me personally. Great channel btw, you seem to actually enjoy the art and cards rather then just going thru to see what's valuable, they take the fun out of it. I mostly don’t care too much about the card game. But the Paradox Pokémon were enough that I’m itching to get the complete collection on every available para mon. (New favorite group.) Might get a booster box myself come next month.

I have the Tulip SIR and it is stunning. I'm very happy with this set.

That GOSSAN Porygon-Z is my favorite illustration art of 2023. I'm gonna buy a bunch while the price is low and have streamers sign them at conventions next year. The 1337 PorygonZ.

just sweptt some cases of 36 for under 85 bucks. just seemed too cheap. I learned to snipe the cheap stuff and not go all in on the current obsession. I am very heavy in 151 but looking for value on Booster boxes where I can. Dollar cost average most

I love the paradox pokemon and I got hyped since the first teaser… then I saw tones of illustration rares and damn… this set is amazing. Way better than SV base set, paldea evolved and obsidian flames.

If I get 2 roaring moons in the box, I preordered, I'll probably also need a change of pants. Happy for you lol

I'm skipping but not skipping it. I'm just not feeling the set as an Oh MY! set. I will admit I still focused on 151. I may grab a pack here and there but not all in like Paldea or 151.

151 is a great set but the pull rates on collecting the rare cards are truly that “rare”. It’s a very frustrating experience. Paradox rift on the other hand seems like a great set because it is very playable, tons of powerful cards , new ancient/future mechanic and TM 技マシン。　Pull rates are much more generous which can make it more fun to open. Sure prices will be nowhere near 151 in short term but whatever

Pre release openings ruin sets before they are even out. Going in completely blind to sets make them better. I've done as much as I could to not look too much into this set or all future sets.

I doubt this will have any resale value and I doubt even a few of these cards will have decent value. This set ain’t no evolving skies. Basically is what Jake is saying. Definitely going to pass on this set and pretty much the entire S&V era so far other than 151. There just isn't enough to get excited about to make ripping packs worth it.

It's not as bad as SV base, but it's pretty weak to me. The Past vs Future thing reminds me of when Battle Styles came out and nobody knew that rapid strike and single strike would ultimately fizzle out. The artworks in the set are very mediocre as well as the main Pokemon they chose for the full arts and secret rares of the set. Not all that terrible, but mediocre. I'm glad people like it because I have zero interest in it when you can still get Crown Zenith and Lost Origin for cheap.

yes, thank you for calling Pokemon center on their shortcomings. during the last drop of the Pikachu van gogh they did me wrong. even though the card was in my cart after I paid, they still didn't sent it. I called support and they pretty much sent me packing. They threaten me with blocking me and not be able to make any purchases. Just because I asked about why the card was not sent. I even sent the screenshot of my cart after I paid. and they pretty much we don't have a say so. either take it how it is or leave the site...that was the worst customer support I've ever experience in my life by far...Thanks for speaking up for those of us who can't

Over-rated, set sucks! A couple of nice artworks but come on the full art ex cards are fugly!! The future concept is weak and half-baked, future!? That's what it's called!? Come on! Way too hyped

Tbj is one of my 3 favs for pokemon products. But I will say in that same breath, that youtubers ruin pokemon and heres why, Kids watch these individuals and listen to them when they say that theres one card or a few to go after. It completely alters the hobby. When youtubers make these videos and speak so loosely about pulls and their unhinged expectations for cards and or pulls due to " tik tok or Instagram " that they saw, it immediately changes the concept of collecting. I stopped watching these openings because it truly ruins the fun and excitement for me. Another example, some of these kids see that 151 has a chance at a multi pull pack. Now All i hear and see is people complain that they arent getting that luck and all of a sudden the set is trash, or "Rigged " its NOT. You all are allowing people to alter and INFLUENCE your perception and Concept of what the hobby is actually about. Youtune and socials have phucked thr actual hobby. The hobby is to collect, not to influence your supporters. Smh the world is dumb these days

Artwork only goes so far. Obscure pokemon never sell well. Of course you are getting paid by TCG so you have to pump this set. Pretty shameless.
