In this video I give you a tour of in my opinion, the most slept on mids in car audio history! For the price, I find them very hard to beat! To purchase or For more information check them out on my store here www.down4sound...
The Arnold is loud, easily twice as loud as the Crescendo pwx I had before in my yukon. Strong vocals, and strong mid bass. Definitely one of the best sounding mids I have heard to date.
Do the Arnold’s!! I think they would sound great in the work truck. But, you know best what sound quality you’re trying to achieve 👌👍 Either way, I know the work truck will look and sound amazing!! Keep the vids coming and thanks for the advice on my Taurus lol!!!
Just got 4 Arnold M61AE and will get them installed soon. The dB amp is scarce and think that will hook up with a banda amp of 145 watt rms per channel
Funny, I was just checking these out on Down4Sound yesterday. Think I found my choice for mids. Was leaning towards Kappa's but think I might have to go for the Arnolds.
just realize these don't play much lower than 80hz a good component setup or coaxial will generally play from 40-50hz and up. these do have a good 80hz punch at higher volume and will get loud. i crossover from 160hz to 8k, then pick up from 3k and up with a good super tweeter and it sounds fabulous
+King Man if I remember correctly deaf bone told me, and it's in the manual that comes in the box with the.. recommended 160hz~250hz 12db slope, they still play down to 90hz but you crossover higher so it's not pounding the lower frequencies.. I'm crossed at 150/160 12db slope then I boost 80hz, 100hz and 250hz with my eq, there not made to play a ton lower than 100hz but they will at lower volume. and they get loud and clear vocals with a good 80-100hz punch
+King Man they sound awesome, but to be completely honest the cheap skar 6.5s have more low bass, but won't even touch the vocals and highs of the Arnolds, plus it don't take a ton of power for the Arnolds to sound awesome, the sensitivity is 101db I believe.. I have mine on a deaf bonce aak-200.4 and they love 200wrms, but they are BIG and don't find a lot of normal doors without sum minor modification
I think the Orions are the most underated. Orion XTRs and HCCA mids are loud and clear. Cheap too. XTRs are $100.00 Pair & HCCA mids are $160.00 for the pair. XTRs are 300w rms per speaker and HCCA is 350w RMS.
The neo mids have the sound quality to match up with hertz mille tweeters? Looking for more mid bass but need the clarity. What are your thoughts? Thanks love the videos
Don’t hesitate to order anything from this shop super fast delivery a bunch of free swag and if there are any problems me price himself will send you an email to make sure it’s right . Thanks again John the skar audio rp 2000.1 is bangin
How does the Sylvesters compare to Pioneer TS-M650Pros? I just got the pioneers for my Harley but like the sound of the Sylvesters! Anyone running them in a Harley fairing? They look huge.
Just helped put some Sylvesters in a friend's truck and another friend just put some Arnold's in his. The Arnold's are no joke. Ridiculous loud. Sound super clean too. Only getting half their rms.
What is recommended for my 06 yukonxl with 2 12" dual 1ohm apocalypse subs in slot ported box tuned at 28hz I already have 8 tweeters running my headliner trying to obtain the best sound quality. Any help will be greatly appreciated seeing as I am still learning and listen to all types of music was looking at the neo60s but was thinking maybe the the Sylvester now 1-2 in each door possibly ?
