I admire the Jewish people for bringing all the Jewish people from around the world to find a sanctuary in Isreal. However, the work is not complete yet until the PALESTINE people find peace and prosperity as the Jewish people did. After all we are all human beings regardless of race, religion, and creed.

First time I came to visit Israel I had an Ethiopian taxi driver. He brought me to the hotel I was staying in Jerusalem. When he heard that I was dating a black man, he was shocked, and he asked me if I like black people, and I said that I do. He was so happy to hear when I told him black people are beautiful. At the time I didn’t understand his surprised reaction, I get it now.

WOW WOW WOW. What a journey from Ethiopia to Israel. Thoroughly enjoyed her story of family and everything else. I had a chuckle when as a 10 year old she told her mum That man is sick, He was white. I went from Australia to America and saw a black person for the first time. Personally it made no difference to me. WE are all humans and should treat people the way we want to be treated. The Ethiopian dabo bread is made from milk and honey, like the land of milk and honey, with the warm spices like cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger, sometimes coriander and cloves, they use fennel seed also. Geula should write a children's book about her experiences that would help people understand the Ethiopian Jews better. Looking at the move from a childs eyes was interesting. The first time she saw a "white" man, as a child she thought he was ill, my sister had the opposite happen. My Zaidi had a man, named Bill who worked for him in his tailor shop. The man was a very tall African American man with a deep brown hue. My 4 year old sister, asked my Zaidi if she could tell him something privately. She whispered to Bill that he should go wash up because if his mother saw he was so dirty, she would get angry with him. Bill started laughing so hard!! He was not insulted. Only by understanding others will there be peace, you are helping so that we all understand "the other", Thank You!!
