ARE FILIPINOS FRIENDLY IN THE SQUATTERS (Slums) of Philippines? 

I've been fighting for the passed 4 days a serious fever and viral infection and just got discharged from the hospital today. Road to recovery.. Hope you enjoy this video and watch it until the end for a preview of the next vlog which will be very, very special. Thanks for all the support through out the last few days, it's been tough.

You are amazing because as a vlogger, especially a foreigner, you don't just show the beautiful beaches or the "rich" and pretty places. You have truly found what is beautiful about our country - our people. We are of course not perfect but as you can see and have experienced, we Filipinos are generous with our smiles and hospitality. actually, people are more friendly in the slums compared to people who live in subdivisions who are quite reserved .

If you had been in Cebu a few years ago you would have seen the poorer area that the SM Seaside Mall was built near but was all cleared when that started being developed...As for the Coffee, Kopiko Blanca is my all time favourite!

Just found you today because I'm researching about poverty in Philippines. Lived there for 1st 10 yrs of my life before I moved abroad. It always saddens me to see the conditions that the people are always left to deal with, but it's also bitter sweet how they come to find happiness in their simple livelihood. I know they deserve better.

You can see the contrast from each side of the concrete wall, one side the shanties & the nice building on the other side. Just be careful getting manicure Pin, you don’t want getting infection. 👍

the Filipinos may be poor but they are rich in life... but for the few rotten tomatoes, they are good people... God fearing, family oriented hard working, happy and sharing people.... and once you win their heart, you have a friend (pah reh) forever.

This was an awesome video, definitely sets you apart from the others. I really enjoy this in a much personal level. I'm starting to really like Cebu more knowing it has the best of both world, the city and nature without having to go to Manila or Mindanao.

The friendliest people in the philippines can be found usually in the slums. In the city area... people are too busy and have no time for bs. But dont get too comfortable (drunk) around the slums.
