This is the best video on Create I've ever seen. Usually players build some contraptions, sometimes weird ones, sometimes nice ones. But here, Bdubs is actually making something working, useful and beautifully integrated to the world. I'm in awe.

Helpful Hints 1. You can increase rotational speed without the Rotational Speed Controller by connecting large and small cogwheels. 2. The vertical gearbox is basically a fake item. It tells you it is a different item but when you place it it is exactly the same block as the gearbox. You can just use normal gearboxes and rotate them with your wrench.

One thing I love about this mod is the sounds! Hearing the clicks and clunks and toggles of the machines you build really immerses you. It's just another layer of detail that really makes this mod stand out from the others. Hearing the gantry carriage mechanism adjust as it moves back and forth is DEEPLY satisfying in a way I can barely explain.

Straight up burst out laughing when the roof sailed away. And before that I shook my head in amazement as Bdubs goes "Oh, I'll just throw up a basic little platform, nothing fancy" and then busts out a full, high-quality wooden crossbar base. Absolute madlad.

I'm glad you're bragging about MCC champion. That was so fun to watch! You gotta make sure nobody ever forgets.

Hey Bdubs! If you don’t want the trapdoors on the monorail to flip by accident, you can use a Copycat Panel and put any trapdoor in it - the Copycat blocks copy the texture of any block when you right click it with that block.

Love that bdubs plays this derby character in all series but you know he is actually a genius in redstone and the create mod here as everything is perfectly planed in each building. His way of combining technicality and beauty is unchallenged.

make sure to set frequencies for your redstone links! if you leave it on blank then not only will every button on the controller effect it, but any other players testing out unset redstone links will also be messing with your system(this of course works in reverse) redstone links effect the whole server so make sure not to have any conflicts

If you haven't figured it out yet, you don't need the Rotational Speed Controllers to change speed! If you put a large cogwheel meshing with a small cogwheel, the small one will be cogging out at twice the speed of the large one, and with enough of them you can adjust the speed in various ways. Rotational Speed Controllers are far better for most purposes, though, so the simple speed changes like that should probably be used when you want to save on brass, or if you want to look decorative with them.

Bdubs' tall, vertical house with a windmill and watermill, surrounded by wheat and wild grass, reminds me a lot of the Netherlands. It would be cool if your little area kinda matched that tone! The monorail also reminds me of funiculars and gondola lifts in the Swiss alps! I think it would be awesome to incorporate that exact design to get to the top of the mountains in the world or go across the valleys! Just some ideas inspired by my travels! Love the series bdubs!

Bdubs building skills are just so amazing! He says he didn't focus on looks and just put it together like really quick, but it looks so beautiful!

Wow. I’m ABSOLUTELY loving this. This is a series I hope lasts a LONG LONG time. The monorail is so much fun as well. I wish we got to see tango’s reaction in this episode but still absolutely fantastic. I love the whole build astetic as well!

The strange loop with brass is because you don't need the speed controller to get the speed. It's just a convenient, compact method. You can use cog ratios to do the same thing, also to go around corners.

Been having a pretty crappy day, I started watching this video. I lost it when Bdubs matter-of-fact comments, "there goes the roof" Thank you for making my day so much better with one line.

The monorail looks amazing! This make me wish so badly that the next season of Hermitcraft could be a special one with Create along with a couple decorative mods! I at least hope that this series will go on for very long!

This is such a good series, I've had a smile on my face the whole time, getting excited when you have a breakthrough moment, and you still get to see the friendly interactions between some hermits. A PERFECT SERIES.

If I might recommend, a seat inside the monorail car would be nice. Prevents anyone falling through the floor if they sit in it.

This series has made me excited to play minecraft again after a 2 year dry spell.

You can also use the normal train track and bogeys to make a monorail system, but i never would have thought of using a gantry carriage, keep up the good work!

I really like the monorail idea. I bet you could even use it to automatically transport items over longer distances.

for the monorail, you can add wireless buttons to interact with the receiver so you don't need to use a controller in each station to change direction (also in the cabbin) so it isn't as hard to control

Pro tip: If you want to change the rotation speed, you can just have a big gear turn a small gear and the small one will go twice as fast with half the power. This is a lot cheaper than the rotational speed controller, so it can be useful if you don't want to craft those pesky precision mechanisms. It also works in reverse - if the small gear is turning the big gear the big gear turns slowly at half the speed and twice the power.

Love the monorail - so cool! I hope you add chimes when the monorail reaches each stop - maybe a different melody for each one

Instead of using a gantry contraption, you should use a minecart contraption! So you would have a rail (running on some trapdoors or slabs) where the gantry shaft is now, but this would allow it to turn corners instead of being limited to one axis! You can also make it turn a little more smoothly by making a minecart contraption across two minecarts. There might be a ponder for it, but basically instead of going directly from 0deg to 90deg, it smooths it out as the front minecart turns ahead of the back minecart, putting the contraption at a diagonal between them. A train would be even better for even smoother curves, but the train tracks are probably too big for the monorail aesthetic, unfortunately!

Hey bdubs, loving this series! To control the speed of your rotation without a controller, use Large Cogwheels. Large to small = doubles speed Small to large = halves speed Hope this helps! Sorry if you already figured this out, not at the end of the vid yet.

I like how bdubs focuses on having fun with create mod instead of building. I like his builds, but I also like seeing him just create stuff for fun.

Just dont forget about the bonus casing. U can cover ur gears shafts and anything else without wasting a casing. So what u r doing is making sure u have a casing to use as well as saving space. MEANING when u start to run ur stuff through the casings u will gain the extra casings u overly used. Meaning no wast. :)

Imagine his monorail in real life, it would be TERRIFYING! Think about it, It's a bunch of panels SUPERGLUED TO EACH OTHER, hanging down from the most primitive of monorail designs, steam powered, and long spans with no support.

A little tip about the Deployers for you: they can actually feed rotational force into each other. You see the little shaft ends sticking out the sides, where you input the rotational force? Yeah, if you face those together on adjacent Deployers (and really, same goes for anything else that has those shaft ends sticking out on both sides), then they'll continue to relay the rotation down the whole line, so you'd only need to feed in rotational force to one end, and it'll power all of them in a row. Also, a tip with the Rotation Speed Controller: it doesn't matter which part of it you feed the initial rotational force into, you could have fed your water power right into the bottom if you really wanted to; whichever half you feed the rotation into, the other half will then get its speed configured by the number you set on it. If you feed the water power into the bottom, then the big cog on top will get its speed configured instead.

Half the mod mechanics I don't understand, however I love this series! You can hear the enjoyment all of their voices and that makes it fun to watch.

I really love the monorail, it's so cute! You should put a couple of seats in it, so you can sit down when riding it and also get a better view out the windows :)

I've been playing Minecraft with the Create mod and Oh The Biomes You'll Go (as well as a few others to spice things up a bit.) I just love how the Create mod pushes me to, well, _create_ bigger builds than I normally would in vanilla!

This is coming from someone who doesnt really like modded minecraft most of the time. I think a season of hermitcraft with this modpack could be absolutely incredible. People who don't want to use the mods don't have to. Just imagine the amazing cities the hermits could create together.

A little tip, if you put 1 iron nugget and 1 andesite inside the mixer (what you used to make brass) it will make 1 andesite alloy, which is half of what the crafting recipe uses
