The name it's self Ingoma Award was suspicious enough. I was not paying attention maybe I did not realize the Christian part I thought it was an award for something to do with ubungoma. Did not watch it either.
Hi Ricky you cannot get it bcos people outside there they are confused. The name ingoma means song. In our time when talking about ingoma we mean our traditional songs and dance "indlamu, isibhaca etc" where the tsongas, zulus, swazis, sothos etc will come together to compete who is the best of the best, then the winner will get a sheep. Mostly ingoma was done during the time when there are mines, there will be a certain day and month which they do it. So I don't know things change. For me gospel crown awards, i don’t think it’s biblical, i m not even surprise when these things are happening , it’s even hard for me to listen gospel music because it’s no longer about worshiping God it’s about money and fame.
