Are Knock Off Flowmasters Worth It? 

Sounds like it’s missing 2 cylinders

I'm not a fan of v6 engines in muscle cars - but i like that sound ... its not too raspy / loud.

Sounds good. Alot better than the factory system. They do sound like Flowmasters. I have Flowmaster deltaflows on my 2012 V6 Mustang and I like the sound. 😎👍

if you own a Challenger, you better have enough money to get real Flowmasters lol

We would need a side-by-side comparison to really get a good idea of whether it’s worth it or not, also it probably has a lot to do with the engine I don’t personally think that most of the sixes are worth putting this type of a muffler on unless of course it’s a 4.3 Chevy lol

Need to do a comparison video with both mufflers. Also need to see if someone has a V8 and had them or is going to install them. That would be the best way to tell is trying to save a few bucks is worth it.

They would sound different on a V8 I have FlowMonster (FlowMaster super10 knock offs) on a V8 Chevy 350/ 88 Silverado no tips just ole school turn downs at the rear bumper and them mufflers do sound nice deep and throaty.....

Super 10’s has a deeper meaner eco But the knockoff’s are clean 👍👍👍 Maybe some Dynomax bullets at the rear with the Knockoff will make it a little more meaner ✌️😃

I wonder if a Nissan Z/Infiniti G would sound better with super 10 style mufflers or if the Challenger would sound better with the X pipe and Flowmaster FX or similar straight through you guys have done for the VQ engine platform

Those might be the Jones full boar mufflers. I had a pair and they sounded great. They're made exactly like the flowmasters 2 chambered mufflers except they are half the price.

Cause they look like flowmasters makes them knocks. 😂. Knocks are if they say flowmaster and not it.

I have Jones full fauxmaster 10s on my 95 mustang gt 5.0 and I love em they sound like flow masters to me and they were line $30 or $40 for the pair a year or so ago, they are beefie and well made no different from flowies the just don't cost like $80 each, there a steel box with v shaped plates inside you really can't mess that up making a knock off besides as far as flow goes not hard to match seems flow masters do not flow as freely as other performance mufflers typically straight through style that are the same price range, those straight through muffs like dynomax sells are just glass packs with just more sound absorbing material around them there nothing cutting edge it's like 50s technology if not older. I recommend Jones fauxmaster 100%, I wondered if Jones will ever make full line of knock offs like 40s 44s 50s n so on.

You can definitely tell the difference I put a flowmaster 40 series on my old 91 chevy k1500 no cat it sounded ok... I put a original 40 flowmaster... way louder and real classic sound! I just put a flowmaster super 10 man that thing sounds great

No, but to each their own. Rather spend the extra and get stainless Black Widows. Widowmaker would be the equivalent to Super 10 while sounding even better. Less drone, same volume.
