I remember when Lunchables first came out. My friend’s mom worked at a hospital as a nurse here in Atlanta and Oscar Meyer was selling or giving them away (I can’t remember which, it’s been so long) to the hospital staff and I just remember thinking how cool they were!

It's so easy to make a delicious grilled cheese sandwich. I can't imagine paying this much for an oddly textured, weird grilled cheese, given how easy it is to make a good one in a pan. It doesn't take long either. I can make one in 5 minutes on the stove top, or 2 minutes in my panini maker, which is crazy good. Put some pesto on there on the panini maker for extra points.

If you were staying in a hotel with a mini fridge and microwave this would be a good way to avoid restaurants, and compared to them, this would be cheap.

Grilled cheese in the air fryer is so worth it. Put the butter on, then some garlic salt, seasoning of your choice and some green can Parmesan place the first bread in the air fryer, then do the 2nd toast and put the cheese on the air fryer toast then put the other bread on top. Halfway through flip and cook again. Then boom! Amazing grilled cheese

while it is definitely my favorite i must say bean&bacon, chili and chicken noodle soup are solid pairing options. nothing hits like that the tomato combo though, which is why i like it with chili. the tomato sauce i use in it pairs really well. i'd take either any day and be happy.

I love making mine with cheddar - traditional or white or a slice of each (!!) - a slice of ham, spread a little mayo on the inside of each slice of bread before grilling and it turns the cheese into ooey gooey goodness! Butter the outside, per usual. It’s amazing on a soft-grained bread, too. Actually, the above is quite literally life-changing! 😋

This is why I can't trust reviews. Mid would mean like middle of the road, average, etc. Mid/average would be.... 3 stars for most, if not 4... but 1? People are silly. Great video as usual though from TheWolfePit. Love the price comparison too as always, it really puts into perspective how much convenience will cost ya! Helps keep me in check tbh, sometimes it's easy to forget just how much cheaper things can be if you just put in a little effort.

Grilled cheese is always a winner. Usually i put sliced tomatoes, onion and jalapenos in my grilled cheese now. I used to have 'Indiana jones and the last crusade' cups. They made every meal better. Cheers from Melbourne!

Over here in the UK the "Lunchables" name (albeit, they recently renamed them "Lunchers", for some reason) under the Dairylea brand are usually just the dry crackers, dodgy processed meat and bits of processed cheese-flavoured product, no sign of something that looks like human food... :P

The Lunchables grilled cheese sandwiches are so good. 2 comes in a pack and I eat one when I come home after work. It is so convenient and it only takes 60 seconds and the box that it comes in makes it hot and makes the cheese melt.

Nobody ever says it, but the best grilled cheese doesn't have tomato or bologna in it - it has bacon. You don't need any sort of soup because it's already insanely delicious.

Grilled cheese in the air fryer has to be separated open face. Takes like 4 mins then. Otherwise the cheese won't melt before the bread is over toasted. 👍

For those of you that dont know, 'american' cheese is (mostly) just cheddar and water with some emulsifying agents to help it melt/soften. It isn't as healthy, but it's still just cheddar cheese

I’ve been enjoying podcasts since having to sync my clicky wheel iPod in the early noughties and still now just enjoy listening to hobby / specialist interest topics hosted by non-celebrities. That does it for me, but I agree there is a massive glut of copy/paste top tier celeb material now which is too finely tuned and makes it hard to find more deserving upstarts. Where did you find these? I also if you ever can find them I would love for you to try the grilled cheese that you put in the toaster oven. I’ve seen them in my Walmart but I haven’t gotten around to try any of them yet and I didn’t want to waste the money if they weren’t good.

The issue is/was that air fryers are just basically smaller convection ovens with a higher speed and/or bigger fan. Personally It doesn't bother but I can see how some people consider the naming being disingenuous.

@2:30. WHERE....are you buying butter for $2.28 a 4pack????? And 16 pack cheese for about a $1.30 a pack????? Even the GoodSense brand butter is almost $5 a pack here in Pensacola. The cheese is over $3. ((another great video)) (LOVE this channel) I grew up on Campbell's tomato soup and grilled cheese. Yum yum.

I'm not sure exactly when it happened but somewhere along my life's journey I stopped liking American cheese. Growing up that was usually all we had. Grilled cheese? American cheese. Cheese toast? American cheese. Bologna and cheese sandwich? American cheese. Tacos? Cut slices of American cheese into strips to go on them. But now I really don't like American cheese, at all. The brand doesn't matter, I just don't care much for it, even on a grilled cheese. So the sliced cheese I most commonly buy these days is Cheddar (I really like medium Cheddar), Colby or Colby-Jack - usually the store brand unless Sargento is on a good sale. Sometimes something else - like Havarti, Provolone or Muenster will slip in just for something different. The point being I probably wouldn't like the Lunchables sandwiches.

The internet has tried to educate Mr. Gordon Ramsay. 2 separate times that if you put anything in a grilled Cheese Sandwich other than bread and cheese, it is not a grilled cheese sandwich. Yet he still seems to Not understand the message that we're trying to teach the old man. Hence the famous meme. 😂

It's cheaper to make fresh. I use Colby Jack or Swiss and real butter. I can add Pepperoni, Tomato sauce or onions even for less..

That's like being sent the recall notice before you even buy the product. Lol. Cheers. PS - As for grilled cheese I think I'll stick to making my own because I can use any cheese I want 😋. BTW - All cheeses are "plastic" because they soften when heated and resolidify when cooled. That's it. But I get the joke about plastic cheese. It sure looks more like plastic than any other cheese. Lol. 🧀🐀

"And pepperoni pizza flavored" I can hear Reddit having an aneurysm right now. They'll throw a fit if you add herbs to a grilled cheese and call it a grilled cheese, and I'm talking from personal experience. (Though I do disagree with calling what is literally a typical pizza sandwich a grilled cheese) Also, personally, a grilled cheese HAS to have two slices. One is practically paper thin and doesn't come out at all, but three might be a bit much.
