Thank you for actually criticizing the Twins management. They have been getting a free pass from the media for years.

I love Phil, but why does Phil rip Judd? Judd is exactly right to be pissed. KC is struggling with revenue and went and spent money and look we're they're at. The MN owners need to get ripped and ripped hard all year. This town is so damn soft. The only thing that will result in change is media criticism and fans not spending money.

We need more "angry sports dad" as someone needs to speak the truth, the other commentators need to stop making excuses as they've been trying to blow smoke up our butts for box seats and team access.

Phil, your take on the twins warning us before the season this is how it gonna be is fine. But Judd’s point is, you could’ve and SHOULDVE got a starter at the e deadline once Joe got hurt cause they were had for a bag of peanuts.

This team is lackluster. Not making any moves at the deadline was ludicrous. Regardless of the injuries, you get back ups. We should have been right up there winning or competing for this division given how we did last year

Falvey has traded away so many major league assets for basically nothing in return on the current active roster, it has crippled the organization. But he’ll blame it on injuries and get a pass from Joe Pohlad and continue to be the smartest guy in the room at One Twins Way.

Judd is spot on. I agree with Phil, to a point. I differ when it comes to Baldelli. Nice guy, but he has never been a Major League manager. He hasn't learned the craft of a MLB manager. He can't adjust, or he misses the flow of a game and can't get his head out the stats to see the players he has before himself.

Mackey’s comments are absurd and just plain petty and mean when it comes to ripping Judd. He is the one guy who speaks the truth and being objective.

It's fair to criticize the front office for not adding a pitcher. But we can also acknowledge that this front office has kept the Twins rated as one of the best, most talented farm systems in MLB for the past several years in a row, universally recognized as such. This group of players have largely graduated and this year have now shown flashes of big time success at the MLB level. However; you have a manager that tries to get a star player to play an uncomfortable position, repeatedly makes poor in-game decisions, and then yells at his team instead of taking responsibility as manager and asking himself what he can do to turn things around. Rocco Baldelli is a loser. He does what a loser does, and that's making excuses and blaming everyone but himself for his team's shortcomings. The Twins won a playoff series last year without Buxton and with Correa not being healthy, so I don't really want to hear excuses about injuries. He's the manager. He has full control on how the team prepares, lineups, etc. He has more control over whether the Twins succeed or fail overall than anyone else does, and the ability to change something when something is not working. Hearing endless excuses makes me not want to watch this team.

Agree with Phil's analysis 100%. In Judd's defense, he has to love baseball for him go downtown and watch that garbage.

This was never a competitive team, the Twins had a good three month run but reality is finally catching up.

Justin Herbert had the same plantar facias injury as Correa, after Correa and yet he was back in the starting lineup for the opening game and has his Chargers 2-0. Twins vibes are SOFT.

Why cant you just come out and say the pohlads were cheap yet again? Thats the root of all problems. Thats the root of every problem with every twins team that squanders their window of opportunity. Stop saying they didnt have 30 mil to spend. They have it. THEY HAVE IT.

Also interesting to listen to the crew in detail explain why this is a fundamentally flawed non serious non championship caliber organization without even realizing they are doing it. It’s foundational flaws not day to day operations.

Twins had the same great core that had postseason success with exception of Gray & was under budget going into this season. At the very least all they had to do w/o spending a dime was to trade for a mid-rotation Kyle Gibson type to eat innings & the hope that Ryan & Ober stepped up. But the FO did nothing to fix this problem but decided to SUBTRACT the heart & soul of the Twins, Mr. Clutch. Plus added wasted salary that hand-cuffed themselves. At the deadline the Twins could have traded to fill needs but decided to basically do nothing to solve our needs & if they hadn't spent wastefully in the offseason they'd even have money to spend on a high-end rental. But to be fair there weren't many good options. Ownership shot themselves in the foot due to the Bally fiasco but they aren't to blame for the state of the Twins, it's all at the feet of the FO. FO gives Baldelli a framework of where he makes his decision. Like every opportunity for Margot to face a LHP, he needs to be inserted in that spot.

The Twins blew a 3-0 lead on Monday with López starting. They'll be lucky to earn a split.

If the twins make the playoffs I’m not going, there’s no way as a diehard fan I can support the ownership group for what they refuse to do this team we need to clean house and start over

I don't know about everyone else but I'm sure I share the same sentiment with some others when I say that for the past month or so I have hardly watched any games and when I do I end up shutting the tv off by the third cuz we are down 6-0. This team is unserious about making the playoff and I won't be excited to watch a Twins game until either playoffs or spring training next year.

Matthew Boyd starts tonight for Cleveland. He signed with them on June 29. He's left handed. He's not pitching deep into games, but his other numbers are solid. Did the Twins make a call or was he too expensive?

Phil, your takes are so lazy. You are blaming injuries on why they aren’t winning now…news flash, Ownership and front office decided to sign those players to long term deals when they are known to be injury prone. Also the fact Ownership decided to cut payroll isn’t a valid excuse, just means we need new Owners who are willing to spend to win. But you and Declan keep being a Twins promoter to keep them as a sponsor and being a sell out.
