Hey noodle lovers! 🎉
Ever wonder if fancy noodles are worth the big bucks? We did too! So we spent $70 for this Momofuku noodles review to see if they're really that great.
👨‍🍳 Who Makes These Noodles?
A-Sha and Momofuku!
💸 Why $70?
You can only get all five flavors from their website. That's why we spent $70. Amazon only has three flavors.
🍜 What Flavors Did We Try?
We cooked up five flavors: Soy Scallion, Spicy Soy, Sweet Soy, Spicy Chili, and Tingly Spicy. Yum!
🔥 Spicy or Not?
Some were spicy but not too hot. Others were really spicy!
👍 Our Ratings
We give scores to each flavor. Some got 5 out of 5!
🤔 Is It Worth It?
Watch the video to find out if these noodles are worth the price.
👇 Where to Buy
We got ours from the Momofuku website. That's the only place to get all the flavors.
So, are these noodles a hit or a miss? Click play to find out! 🎬

The chili crunch shenanigans revealed them to be quite the bullies so no to momofuku for me.

The Momofuku Chili Crunch goes great with the noodles if you want to bump up the spice and add some varied texture to it.

Screw Momofuku and it's chili crisp. They are trying to make it so no one else can use that term.

A-sha noodles on their own are great. The hainan style noodles with onion, original soy and spicy chilli sauce are all already pretty awesome. They are also much cheaper - $6.98 for a pack of 5.

Always see these momofuku noodles in stores but could never pull the trigger just cause we could never justify that price. But now we may have to give them a try

They're for sure top tier out of the quick-prep noodle category even if they do cost more 😅 Definitely think you guys would like it though!

Not sure why these are so crazy priced now. They used to be $1 more per 5pk than the equivalent A-Sha 5pk. Now it's double the price. The sauces are slightly different, but I'd recommend just getting the A-Sha noodles and tweaking the sauce to your liking.
@PeterLisaKim
@PeterLisaKim 11 месяцев назад
Definitely a great recommendation! We've found the A-Sha ones at our local Grocery Outlet from time to time and love those as well.

I’ve tried a lot of packaged noodles and I have to say these are so easy to prepare and very tasty! $2.50 a pop but I think the ease of preparation is key. Can’t go wrong with these.

I'm addicted to the soy scallion flavor. I can't eat the cheap stuff anymore, I don't like the texture and it's unhealthy. These let me get my noodle fix without the guilt 🍜 Oh and why do Italians love pasta so much?

the noodles themselves are very good but the seasoning packs are soooo bland and in some cases even bad-tasting. with a lot of doctoring they're good but it's not worth spending so much just for noodles that you have to add a lot of stuff to in order to make them enjoyable. i'd just buy plain noodles at the asian market for a fraction of the price.

I have tried these before at Target, so I splurged and bought 6 packs. The package was lost for a month and their customer service team literally did nothing to help. They just kept sending the same generic email over and over saying the package wasn’t lost, usps just wasn’t updating their shipment tracking. For a month? Yeah right. I’ll never buy from this company again, and this is the first time I have said that in 38 years of life.
@PeterLisaKim

Hi! I’ve had a similar issue with USPS. They “delivered” my package but when I asked for proof of delivery they said they would investigate and nothing happened. They couldn’t find my package. Basically bought something and received nothing. I was so annoyed. So it’s not Momofuku’s fault, most likely USPS. 😞

Well said. Plus, if you pay at least some attention to prices, you can make a lot more, better quality for a fraction of the price. When I saw they paid $70 for 5 bags of noodles, all I could do was laugh. Sorry, but a VERY large portion of that cost is simply paying for the Momofoku name. I wasn’t Momofoku born yesterday!😂

Most people don't have time or going to invest that kind of time to make noodles when this is so much more convenient. People can make homemade pasta which I do for special occasions but not on a weekly basis.

Asking why Asians love noodles isn’t racist. It’s a question. Many Asian people love noodles. There is a reason for that. Explaining our culture to others and removing mystery actually reduces the opportunity for racism.
