I've never had an NRG wheel but I've had a bunch of NRG products including seats, hubs quick releases etc. Pretty much everything NRG makes except a wheel. Really impressed with the quality, never had any problems with anything.

This was one of my favourite mods to my Skyline. The deep dish wheel + the quick release AND my bucket seat made my whole driving position and driving experience change for the better 😁 Although I spent aaaaaaages doing trial & error because my steering wheel was slightly off centre when driving in a straight line. Happy days after I sorted that out! (10 tries later) 😂

The yellow plug isn’t for hicas it’s for the airbag and steering wheel sensor all cars have the plug unless it’s from the 40’s

Entire car community: NRG wheels are cheep badly made copies of established brands that aren't safe and make life harder for the proper safe and professional brands that produce their own original designs and know what they are doing! I had the NRG snap off and locking hub for my EG6 SiR. Quality piece of kit, although I am not a fan of their wheels. I would have went for a Nardi.

I find it funny that people shit talk NRG and say that their products are cheap and shitty because they're not Sparco or Momo products but in reality NRG makes really high quality wheels and hub adapters for just about any car at decent pricing, and they're American made. Designed and manufactured in California, used by Formula D drivers, drag racers, and more recently, they've been found in just about everything that Hoonigan has been building at the Donut Garage too. And the best part about them is that they've also started making hub adapters for racing sim setups so you can swap your wheel from you car and into the Sim and back.

Nardi wheel would of been cooler! Or night runner collab wheel would look sick in your r34 gtr

If I was to buy a steeringwheel I would definetly go for a Momo Montecarlo in general because I think it suits most cars beautifuly . For a R34 in perticular I guess I'd get a Jet or maybe even a Quark

I would say OMP/Momo but it’s your car/money. NRG used to be absolute shit but recently they have been taking steps towards more quality stuff their harnesses and seats are now FIA certified and a lot of Pro Am/Formula D drivers are sponsored by NRG

The NRG hubs and quick releases are very good quality, theyre not the absolute best, but my quick release has never failed me in a year, i do not have an NRG wheel tho, i have seen them break and i have seen the rims come off the spokes of NRG wheels
