About the Conducting Mana attribute, some suspect this might be an invalid attribute as Chromastone was inside Diamondhead at the time so it might not have been Diamondhead that actually absorbed it.
@@KirigiriKirin yeah one thing that might work is Carbon Nanotubes. Graphene, the hardest substance known the man, is a carbon allotrope that has massive tensile strength and is highly conductive. two factors that Petro Sapien crystals possess. Another crystal harder than Diamond is pure Lonsdaleite. Formed under much cantor intense heat and pressure than Diamond, lonsdaleite has only been found in i pure forms at meteorite impact sites. To technically is Graphene turned into a Diamond. Main reason I don’t think it is what Petro Sapiens are made of is because it is a sandy yellow.
On your credit cube discussion, i like to think that the credit cube is basically the universal version of a credit card that only certain people in the universal community are able to get access to, basically what's an ommi currency at a perfect 100% exchange rate for anything the universe i mean we only ever did see them ONCE
High abundance doesn’t necessarily decrease price, just take diamonds for example, they aren't that rare but they still cost a lot (and, conveniently, each individual one will lose value after you buy it and try to resell it.)
All Vilgax wanted to do when blowing petropia up was bost scarcity. I would think there might be a diminished value if the petrosapien crystals don't actually last long after they are generated. But seeing constructs remain well after diamond head returns to normal makes me doubt that. Perhaps he means that it has little value amongst other petrosapiens given they can all create it? It'd ve like the equivalent of selling breath. Maybe there were so few amongst the stars before and after their extinction aliens among the Galaxy simply haven't commonly agreed upon the minerals value?
I guess the reason why it's valueless is because it's kinda forcing Petrosapian to be slaves to create these crystals. Another explanations I can see is that their compounds are different due to many circumstances. After all, one is literally a walking shiny rock and Taydonite is presumably made from regular ore chucks that's not gonna be a walking shiny rock and thus is better to procure without triggering any rights and laws. Another thing to mention is that one episode where Kevin is absorbing Taydonite forcefully by Vulkanus. While yes, that episode itself can cause a lot of questions, the crystal itself does force Kevin to touch it so...there you go I guess. (And weirdly enough Vulkanus has Grandpa Max's message to Ben so...there's another question). Great video, always love the theory that racks my noodle.
I have also wondered about this, and I used to think taydenite came from Petrosapien until it was debunked and said their crystals were worthless, but I think they can be worth something as a cheep material which is strong and durable but has multiple uses like cheep jewelry that looks nice 💍 and the others things weapons 💎🗡️ or furniture 💎🛋️ like you said, but I think you were right about the credit cube but I think it can still have valuable 💎💰
I think if the Petrosapien crystal was abundant it would still be used everywhere but I don't think it is. Maybe it's too hard to work with, maybe too hard to sculpt or melt. I don't know kinda sounds a stupid reason but maybe
True but if ou think about petrosapien crystals are technically there flesh so if selling them we would be selling body parts huh no wonder its not sellable but maybe crafting it as weapons or items like vases or lightbulbs it could be sellable
@@KirigiriKirin yeah but its artificial so i am pretty its just interpretation i mean i am pretty sure eating them is illegal after the phantophage incident
Interesting! Hope you're having a good day c: in regards to your poll, I'll go with myaxx! Just think she's neat, intrigued by what she could've been up to outside her brief return cameos in uaf/omniverse. I'd guess that your fave out of the three is tetrax! vilgax is great but I feel like his appearances had less impact as time went on; main exceptions for me are big team up and prison episode that also featured attea in omniverse
Huh so now knowing that the crystals aren’t worth much if I understood this right, I now have a lot more basement space, thanks kiri those psychic crystals always felt like a scam but now it’s good for it to be confirmed
I imagine it was said that it has no value just so Ben can't use Diamondhead to instantly get rich. I originally had an argument that it would rapidly crumble after a while since it came from a living being, but this was disproven when Eon used a time beam on crystals that Ben 10000 made and they were unchanged.
Man this video was intressting to know thinking if diamond head crystal are valuable (Also kirin what do you think of part 5 and also im also gonna add new things to part 6 to show what the hyper trix is now capable off also what do you think of ultimate tick bomber?)
Some other functions for Petrosapien crystals (P-C) I came up with. The military is a big economic part of most countries. They would be highly interested in that stuff! Ultra light but resistant to heat, cold AND pressure? Bullet-resistant vest-plates made of P-C would be insane, even withstanding the heat of lasers. Or weapons for that matter, we have seen what Diamondhead is capable of so imagine adding sci-fi tech to that. Or swiss army knifes out of pure P-C, the tools would never have to be sharpened or polished. Or for that matter, any steel tool coated in a layer of P-C would be perfect. A hammer for example would still have enough weight to accumulate enough force, but also be much more durable when working with hot metals.
@@KirigiriKirin Another Thing that just got into my mind: Kitchenware. As a professional cook, I am ready to pay a high price for good equipment. Grips for pots, pans or even entire knives made out of P-C? People would make bank with that Idea. Just look at how much japanese kitchen knives cost!
5:51 One sort counterpoint against scarcity and time travel (and dimension/universe travel) is how available is the latter, if its rare and/or difficult for most its unknown if it would be worth the investment.
I mean, Time Travel in Ben 10 is certainly not scarce, there are entire species of both sapient and sentient life that has time travel powers, AND Humans randomly invented it by accident with their simplistic level 2 technology, so I think it would be fairly accessible. However, you do raise a good point!
@@KirigiriKirin there's also the issue that, in regard to time travel at least, rare materials would just simply be transported to the future meaning their scarcity would be unaffected (just due to the whole grandfather paradox thing).
Great video; also to help further help the pricing thing copper is a incredibly common material and at the same time is still expensive due to just how important it is for multiple different uses. A good question would be if the reason it’s not seem much in universe is cause the Petrosapians have historically scalped the shit out of the prices.
The reason i think he said this is cuz for one if you had to make tgem into clothes the crystals would have to be pretty big which would lead to rips in the clothes also its probably really heavy with all the rocks in it but if you say maybe they could use smaller crystals so it wouldn't be so bad well then the affect of its properties would be lessened also its been broken many a times from people who are mid to higher tears of strength so homes or armer wouldn't be very strong because every thing in ben 10 explodes or gets hit by lasers. Homes arn't safe either cuz light being concentrated would start a lot of fires
In the Ben 10 universe, people eat artificial Tiffin flavoured food. That would be like selling human-flavoured food, so I don't see the difference tbh
So correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the credit cubes incredibly rare? Ben only got one from a monarch and i don't remember them appearing again but I may be wrong on that.
Please remmeber when considering diamond prices that they are massively artificially inflated. Only abou 4% of diamonds mined are released into the market, creating artificial scarcity. In addition artificial diamonds, despite being superior in a lot of ways, are far less valuable for arbitrary reasons and should probably be used as a more accurate idea of what the value of diamonds actually is.
Now I’m curious: do the crystals Diamondhead creates stay around after Ben returns to normal? I could’ve sworn they do, but I can’t remember for sure and don’t feel like looking through the series just to find out. But if they _don’t_ stay around, I suppose that’d make Ben’s crystals specifically pretty worthless.
The crystals still remain even after Ben turns back to human. In Alien Force the crystals that he used to pummel Vilgax were still there in the ending. The Plumbers pretty much clean up the remains of his crystals.
What if the reason it has no value is because it’s considered taboo or frowned upon. Like a he petrosapiens thinking that you selling pieces of your body is akin to selling your piss as a human.
Chromastone crystals are infinitely rarer than Diamondhead crystals. Since there's only 2 beings in the universe made of them, and they can't produce the crystals like petrosapians can
