Thinking on it maybe Beast nostrils are adapted gills, simply his species adapted them as sensors orgabs rather than a nose for the lubgs, maybe their unknow home world is so dark that not even the most primitive creatures developed eyes and by consecuence noses at have more space to bigger and efficient gills And in case of upchuck there is no reason to develop a noce when your race can ingest a small building of anything (including air) in one go. In fact maybe they not only store energy, they could store oxigen in their bellies(its a pocket dimensions ) and the gills are to release the co2 for it they don't need to breath in space. PD: i put oxigen and co2 to relate they could breath nitrogen for example or something like that.

I had a personal theory that loadstar is subspecies of heatblast. my reasoning: both have telekinesis like powers specialized to like one type of thing loadstar can manipulate magnetism, heatblast can manipulate fire. both are made of inorganic like stuff with loadstar looking more refine, which could explain why he can manipulate metal. And both probably don’t have necks. I dare you to find me one scene where we can see heatblast neck.
Yea no, it explains in the series they come from the same planet.... He literally states that most of the aliens Ben turns into has predators. Not far fetched to think they watched Ben for years, learned the species he turns into, and go to said planet to get a predator.
A good example of subspecies on Earth is dog breeds. Like seriously, you cant convince me that Pugs and Golden Retreivers arent different subspecies. But cat breeds, besides those furless cats, are all the same subspecies, because they are all basicaly the same, the furless cats have 1 major difference that makes them feel different.
I mean, for me and in my headcanon and comic, Perks have 4 tongues, an overbite, gelatine/ amoeba like features, and four stomachs, and cannot eat organic matter, and Murks have one tongue, lizard/frog like features, and one stomach, and can eat organic matter, so like I have that, so that’s how they are subspecies to me
To me the gut dimension is too far of a stretch(pun intended), but then again the transformers in animated(same universe as omniverse) had pocket dimensions built within their chasis. I often wonder if Derrick didn't get to explain on Animated and decided to go full out on Omniverse with wacky science-fantasy. Hence after getting done with Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporate he felt like "After doing such a dark show that cartoon network didn't want in the first place, and not getting to do my artistic wackyness Imma go full on out" In omniverse Derrick does have throw backs to TF Animated, and SD Incorporated so this was the last show he had full free range on.
