I don’t remember the exact size, I want to say they were 1/2 or 3/4 but I bought a couple grade 8 washers from Menards and I believe I put 2 or 3 on the driver side motor mount and that gave me just enough room.
I have a 16 mustang gt x pipe from American muscle and mbrp axle back. Can I buy these and bolt up just fine? If not what's needed please? Also any check engine lights or anything?
Not entirely sure if it’ll bolt right up but it can be made to fit. Any exhaust shop would be able to hook you up. You’ll need a tune or to run the o2 spacers
You need to dent one of the primary’s on the driver side to clear the steering shaft. Don’t remember which one exactly but you’ll see when you are installing.
Yeah it works great lol I went and got a few washers from the local hardware store and put them on the driver side motor Mount and it worked amazing. The rubbing issues I had with the steering shaft went away
I used the oem hardware and gaskets. It’s a tight fit but they’ll all work. You may have to remove one of the studs on the passenger side to slide the header in but it’ll go back in.
Gregg Narcisse I had no complaints. Saved a lot of money over the name brand ones. They did their job lol. Only thing I would do different is have them coated.
I see that some say “ mustang 5.0/302 11-16 Gt . Do they still got the new Gen 3 5.0s ? I’m curious found a pair for 150$ wanna see if they fit they new gen
They should still fit. I bought them for my 17. I don’t know why they don’t just say 11-22 lol. And when I say fit I mean with the usual clearancing they should still go on.
@@mr.manny_s5506 yeah the wide bands will adjust for you the only thing you’ll have is a check engine light for cats. You can try the o2 sensor spacers those have been known to solve the issue for the check engine light. But you don’t need a tune to run them.
Yes but you shouldn’t need a tune to run them. Only thing they’re doing is basically turning your light off. Car will run just fine without a tune though.

Mike Martinez well all the dollars you save could go towards the replacements for the cheap headers😂. In all seriousness tho it’s all your own preference , If you feel safe with going cheap route then who cares🤷🏽♂️
Inspection I’m not sure. We don’t have that in Indiana. The engine light will come on however it’s easy to take care of even without a tune. Some o2 extensions for the sensors will do the trick and eliminate the light.
