Tune played way better after he got some snaps. I want him to get a ton of snaps in the next couple games. Colt can start game 1, but if we get behind and need some downfield passing then Tune or Blough will get the call.

Tbh I’m actually excited to see what this new regime has. Every new rebuild behind Steve Keim you knew what to expect. It was a “Win Now” mode. Signing old vets and injury prone players. Not drafting positions of need and letting key players walk. With this now new regime from watching the War Room draft. Monti took control and secured future picks, something Steve Keim never did. JG turning the culture around and actually holding players accountable. I can’t remember the last game where we had such few penalties.

I love the video, but I’d still like to see McCoy over Tune. Not only because I like McCoy’s overall attitude over Tune’s, but I think the experience in the huddle with this young team looking for an identity will only help them.

Tune fared well when looking at his stats against all other NFL rookies with 5 or more pass attempts. If you compare him against veterans with 5 or more attempts in preseason game 1 i believe he'd look like the rookie he is- which is exactly what he looked like in realtime in the game. It would be short sighted to plan on starting Tune when considering both team success and Tunes development.

Not even close. Murray is almost healthy and with KM behind an excellent OL Arizona has the talent to field a top 10 offense. They have a really good OL excels in pass pro, strong solid run game led by James Connor and I think they’ll sign a good FA back like Hunt or Elliot soon. At WR AZ has a nice mix of size n speed (have one of the fastest WR corps n NFL) between Hollywood w/ 4.31 speed, Rookie 6”2 Michael Wilson who’s a stud, 6”2 Zach Pascal, Rondale Moore who runs a 4.28 w/40in very, WR Greg Dortch w/4.41 speed. Connor excels in the pass game as well. At TE Arizona has a healthy Zac Ertz, Trey McBride primed for a breakout, Noah Togiai looks really good, Geoff Swaim is a pure blocking TE and Blake Whiteheart has the talent to develop good into a number 2. Defensively I think AZ is better than they get credit for but I think they’ll have more of a top 14-20 defense. Solid versus the run, really good young pass rush with a lot of talent at EDGE rusher, good MLBs who can cover and they have a talented secondary with one of the better SAF rooms in football. They need to develop but they’ll be well coached. Arizona has the talent to win far more games than they’re getting credit for in the media and will be really well coached. With a healthy KM at QB I think their ceiling is 10 or so wins and their floor 5-7 wins if they struggle which could happen but AZ has the talent to give any team in the league trouble with a healthy Murray n healthy roster around him offensively which he didn’t have last season.

You are absolutely wrong about Murray. He was a flash in the pan.

That little guy as a No1 receiver is a joke ! He won't last 17 games . Christian Kirk is still better and tougher than Brownie .

I'm one to say no do not going to be that bad I already predicted with a friend they will at least when seven games this year. That's a big step in the right direction.

Personally cards should go after harrison jr and i’d say the best edge talent i believe it will set them up for great success in the future williams makes no sense to me after they’ve already invested so much into kyler

As a a cardinals fan we are going to be exactly as bad as everyone thinks. In terms of Budda Baker carrying the defense it just isn’t possible in his role. There is no safety in league history that can make up for a bad defensive line. Tampa Bay has a much better overall team with the carryover from the Tom Brady era. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Barrett, Vita Vea and others will will the bucs to victory some weeks. Even though their o-line projects to be average it is still going to be the best offensive line Baker has had since Cleveland. The Cardinals don’t have that caliber of talent and where they do it is at positions that aren’t altogether all that valuable. Edit: good job on the video by the way. Felt like a video from a channel with 100k subs.

I didn't think the Cardinals were that far off last year, they just got obliterated by injuries and suspensions, with a historic number of games missed according to statisticians who track that stuff. If they were simply running it back this year, I'd actually be excited for the year, and calling out people who only looked at their record last year and not the context, chastising them for thinking they'd be bad this year. The problem is that's not the situation. They lost a TON of key players on offense and defense, and did not replace a single one of them with even a comparable talent, let alone a better one. Throw in the natural adjustment period every team goes through with a coaching staff change, and their QB coming off an injury that will likely cause them to miss at least some games to start the year, and unfortunately, yeah, I do think they'll be as bad as people say. Even losing Hopkins, which is a huge blow, I think the offense will be better then people outside AZ realize, especially once Kyler returns. But the defense, its so lacking in starting nfl caliber talent, it might be record breakingly bad. We had the second worst defense in the NFL last year, and we lost 3 of our top 4 defensive performers in Allen, Muprhy, and Watt, then used our first round pick on O-Line and signed no one of note as replacements. Last I checked PFF had only like 4 players on the defense with grades of "average NFL player", 1 with above average (Budda Baker), and the entire rest of the defensive roster ranged from slightly below average, to WAY below average. This roster, particularly on the defensive side, is just not built to win foot ball games. And, in my opinion, that appears to have been the point. You do NOT release Hopkins coming off a fantastic season like he had last year (albeit in a small sample size due to his suspension) to save a few bucks, let alone in such a way that you have to take the full cap hit from next year this year so your actually worse off this year financially then if you kept him, if your trying to win this year. Whether I like it or agree with it, the new GM has very clearly and unapologetically built this roster to compete for the number 1 overall pick this year. Does that mean they can't win some games? Of course not. This is the NFL, everyone out there on the field is actively trying to win, and we're not the only team whose GM has intentionally (or unintentionally) built them to fail. Winning some games is absolutely possible, maybe even probable (though I would not be shocked if we were the first ever 0-17 team with this roster either...). But this roster was not built to win, at least not this year. They were built to be bad, and I expect they will be.
