Interesting take… I *being a Texans Fan* have always wanted to know how other teams fans outside of the division think. Pretty good insights but a lot of your information is misinformed. I get not knowing what a team’s doing by not being a fan, like I couldn’t tell you a shred of information that the Bills are doing besides having a class act rookie wide receiver in Keon Coleman. I willl agree to disagree here. The leadership hasn't changed from this year to last year, and we were just fine. An inexperienced coach, who won 10 games and a playoff game. Demeco oversees the defense and is one of the best defensive minds in the game. The Texans, not the Browns, had the most players of any NFL team on injured reserve. They played with a majority of backups on that offensive line compromised of 3rd stringers, cut candidates, and practice squad players on the line. Okudah and Henderson were brought in as competition, not guaranteed starters. The Mixon you alluded to is not the same guy today. Diggs won't have to be the focal point, face double teams, he simply will just have to get open. He won't have a QB that throws head scratching INTs at the worst possible times. Stroud isn't worried about a target on his back, this team doesn't get bothered by outside noise. When breaking down the defensive lineman, you failed to notice that despite Autry's injuries he still had double digit sack numbers. You also neglected a shut down corner in Stingley. This team will be fine against a stronger strength of schedule, because we do not suffer from mediocre QB play, the roster talent improved, and we did not lose either of our coordinators. The Browns comparison is laughable, Baker has never looked close to what CJ has done as a rookie. I would recommend putting on some tape from last year......the games against Pittsburgh, Tampa, Cincinnati, and playoff game against the Browns Then watch some of the bad games Atlanta, Carolina, Jets, and the playoff loss to Baltimore. If you can know football, then you will see how truly terrible your takes are, and how uninformed you sound.

I'm a 64 year old Texans fan. This is my third year as a season ticket holder. I was on the waiting list for over 15 years. There are a few teams that I'm not that fond of but I would never spend my time and/or energy on dissing them. I would be more inclined on spending time cheering for my team and hoping that they would get better. I know everyone has different outlooks but what a waste of time dude! You failed to address the fact that the Texans were also a very injured team last year that was basically playing with house money. They didn’t have a bunch of star talent on this team, and were a joke of an organization for years. DeMeco and CJ both helped turn the fortunes around and now they went all in this offseason (unlike some other NFL team that resides in the state of Texas). Deny it all you want, but you want the Texans to suck. It’s ok to admit it.
