Graziano Etiene he’s the most versatile player on the team his last year at juve he played more advanced and had freedom he’s a creator he can’t play 10 yards above the back line

Football Daily that doesn't mean mourinho should force it on him we both know he didn't play there at juventus. Sell him already if mourinho refuses to play him further up the pitch am sure Madrid would be happy to dump down more than 89m for him.
CLARK KENT yeah Pogba can’t run the midfield he is an attacker. Can’t do what De Bruyne does and it’s clear. Jose’s ego just keeps him from playing Pogba where he’s best coz “Jose is never wrong”
In the Swedish comentary (sorry for spelling problems) they said that he and Lukaku should go more attacking, Lukaku was of course also horrendous, and Alexi Sanchez open goal, FFS! F***ING SHOOT MAN!!
Come on guys. It's not that Pogba isn't a versatile player, its that Mourinho is not adapting Pogba's talents to the game by often requiring him to sit deep in games when Pogba should be attacking as often as possible. Talking about Scholes in comparison to Pogba is unfair b/c Scholes was managed by a genius. Pogba is managed by a DUD!!!!
I wonder when people will start saying the truth, I've not seen the Sanchez that was in Arsenal, I'm being completely honest, have you seen the way this guy loses ball possession? All four games have not been up to standard, I wonder who voted him man of the match. Sure he drops deep to win the ball, but it's worrying seeing a man of his quality losing possession every third time he's on the ball, check the stats.
He's played really well. The statistic of losing possession is a nonsense. Because he's trying things and creating opportunities he is always going to give the ball away more. Hazard gives the ball away 2x that of any other Chelsea player... means nothing, if he's contributing, which Sanchez is (2.6 chances created p90 @ MUFC). [Joe]
I completely agree about Pobga's lack of versatility . All great midfielders can play where needed tactically to suffice the team. Surely if he can only play the attacking part of a CM role he's basically a bigger Aaron Ramsey
When he came everyone was raving about how Pogba could play all over the midfield. After the Newcastle game everyone hates on him for not being flexible. I'm sure in the near future he'll have a game where scores two goals, makes 6 tackles and interceptions and then everybody will be praising him for how versatile he is. God, you gotta love it.
I feel both are correct. For Paul Pogba to be considered a world-class midfielder he should add versatility to his strength. But, till he becomes versatile enough, it's Jose's responsibility as a manager to set up team in such a way to bring the best out of each individual player. Sanchez is complete versatile player. Then why Jose is stubborn in playing Martial on the right where he is not as comfortable, as Sanchez would be. Also no idea why he is keep picking Smalling. And why is Shaw always benched ?
I used to be in the class of 92 and me and roy keane used to always say pogba was useless in training but lingard always impressed me. He would often chip schmeichel and then do some dabs. Big pete would throw a wobbler while me, kanchelskis and jaap stam and sometimes nani would be in stitches. Fergie would shout ONE MORE TO THE MILLY ROCK MANDEM and denis Irwin would never get involved in the celebration.
It’s insane what De Bruyne can do. Throw him anywhere from dm to a false 9. Shouldn’t be compared to Pogba the way he is. When Silva is gone he’s basically a box to box and when Silva’s there he’s a DLP. Does what ever Pep demands. So versatile and his movement, vision, through balls and crosses are brilliant. Don’t think city will ever see a better player wear that badge.
Its so easy to make a good Man U team it baffles me : LW : Sanchez ST : Lukaku RW : Martial AM : Pogba LDM : Matic RDM : Herrera LWB : Young CB : Jones CB : Bailly RWB : Valencia Subs : Ibrahimovic, Rashford, Fellaini, Mata, Lindelof, Blind, Romeo. Club captain : Carrick In the bin : Darmian, Shaw, Smalling. Leftovers : Lingard
I know that he isn't going anywhere, but what team would be the best fit in terms of play style for Pogba? Liverpool's pressing, man city's possession...?
You compared pogba with Paul schoales, he started as a cf however pogba hasn’t been granted that sort of opportunity in Man U, he’s been playing cdm and he has played well previously in the role it’s just Jose needs to utilise his players to play the best possible in the best positions for the players as it’s no use to e.g. play lukaku in defence and say oh he’s not versatile (bit extreme ik allow it 😂)
Michael Peacock biggest club in 2018 basically just means more money becuase there is no pride or passion in footbal anymore that's why there is no difference of playing for a team like RB Lipezig or Dortmund, PSG or Marsalie,a city or man u
I think pogba should play more up front. Maybe play behind lukaku and push lingard out wide replacing Mata. And this is gonna be the even more weird part but put blind as the second defensive mid
Ask De Bruyne to play in a defensive side managed by Mourinho, playing next to an orthodox DM. Then see how he is doing. The fact is that a Pogba freed of the burden of doing everything is best for United not 10 players sacrificing their positions or style of play for Sanchez who individually is incredible but currently unbalancing the United side because of Jose’s tactics. Pogba is more of a Gerrard or Lampard, he is not a player with the skill set or mentality to sit, hold and pass. It’s like the difference between Yaya Toure as a DM and when Mancini would let him play further up to dominate opposition sides for City.
Pogba is good enough to the point where you can build a squad around him. What's the point of buying a player for 80+ mil and play him in a position he wasn't known for. He should be versatile but clearly it isn't working so they need to play players in their strongest positions
If Man Utd continue playing 4-2-3-1 could Pogba perhaps play as the 10, rather than being part of the double pivot? Obviously its ideal that he an 8 in a 3, but being tactically versatile doesn't necessarily mean playing further back does it?
so why is sveryone blaming pogba? was he the worst out of the united players? hell no. u had martial who missed 4 sitters, smalling who didnt have a single interception and gave away the foul by diving which led to a goal and lingard doing nothing the whole game
This hurt, I thought Pogba was the next one but seems mentally he can't cope. He needs to mature and if it doesn't happen next season than we need to look somewhere else for a midfielder General to match up with the best in the world. He'll go somewhere with less pressure on him and perform but would have not made it a MANCHESTER UNITED, he won't be the first. He needs to grow up.
Pogba is an advanced player in a 4-3-3. He should of stayed at Juve and played with pjanic behind him with khedira/Marchisio for support and have dybala right in front of him. Also, costa would have good outside option.
I truly think its going to go down to the wire in Spain, I still think Barcelona will edge it unless Simeone stops being alergic to improving the attack
Why are you guys blaming pogba? He has been carrying Man U for months and is their only creative player. If pogba wasn’t in Man U, they’d be outside top 4.
In my opinion, Pogba played muched better together with Zlatan than he does with Lukaku. And Lukaku needs to learn from Kane how to be a target man when the ball gets cleared, they never seem to use his length and strenght instead they make him run.
Joe stop saying de Bruyne is better than pogba and saying that de Bruyne can play in 2 different midfield positions pretty sure pogba can play as an attacking midfielder but never seen de Bruyne play in defensive midfield
Wtf pogba had one bad game and now everyone’s slatting him he was world class before the game and will continue to be world class anyone who’s calling him a flop is just talking crap
Did I just hear that right? You think Spurs should’ve beat Liverpool at Anfield? They dived, therefore cheated, got an offside penalty to get the last second equaliser. They were also losing for over 70 minutes of the game, so how on Earth did they deserve to win?
